I find it disgusting how far a law can push decent humanity. How can a system force people into working with or for their abusers.

The fact of the matter is, Kesha isn’t even in court to put her abuser behind bars, she just wants her voice back and to be free from her abuser. For a judge to deny that, is utterly ridiculous and makes me sick to my stomach. How are victims supposed to have the courage to put their abusers behind bars when the system can’t even overrule a simple contract. It’s inhumane and makes my blood boil. How can you not own yourself anymore? how can you let a victim walk out of a court room knowing their abuser still owns their life.

She created the bra after a man jumped out of the woods to grab her while she was on a run. The systemic problem of assault against women has sparked an entire industry of cutesy self-defense wear, but this is a problem that women shouldn’t have to solve.
