Throughout the project I have been watching a lot of videos by a you tuber named Draw with Jazza who is a working animator and character designer and is based in Australia, he produces brilliant online tutorials with a variety of subjects ranging from animating in certain softwares to studying and drawing the human anatomy and even how to get out into the world of animation and also help in buying equipment for animation and really influential and helpful books. Christmas Calendar Day 3: Passpartout with Jazza

Christmas Calendar: Masterlist One of the channels I have subscribed on Youtube is Draw with Jazza. Jazza is an amazing artist with lots of videos about art (surprise) and him doing art challenges and trying new things, he has app to give you inspiration and challenges for your art and there’s interaction with the audience. I have yet to test the app or watch the live streams, just disclaimer. One of my favorite things on his channel is the series of him playing the game Passpartout - The Starving Artist. This series has make me smile and laugh and it has brought sunlight to my darker days. In this series you can see how artist plays art game where you make and sell your art, how the story becomes alive and how the characters will get their own personality. It’s deep dive into artist’s mind with the celebrations and the meltdowns, with little bit of exaggeration. If you have ever made art or atleast tried, no matter what it was, you can probably relate atleast some of the stuff Jazza says and how he reacts to different things the game throws at him. So, let us dive in the world of art, the ups and downs, the artist’s interaction with their audience of the good and the bad, the world of wine and baguettes, the accent, the struggle to be sellout or not, the jokes and puns, the easter eggs, the existential crisis of an artist, more wine and baguettes, French Jazza, George not writing his books, the ending dance, all the things that made this the obnoxious but consistent (Jazza’s thing, not insulting anyone here) series of art! And let’s not forget the sexy Benjamin.
