I just got off the ferry onto Vancouver island where Bryer and Kam are from, my mom picked me up(she has no idea about my love, care and fascination with these boys and their story) and almost immediately the first thing she mentioned was that they had found their bodies and that they were gone. My heart completely sank I was speechless I felt my throat tightening and the tears welling in my eyes. I tried not to let it show and frantically began asking every question that I could think of I couldn’t believe the amount of fear and dread I felt as she only vaguely watched the news report. I was absolutely terrified the whole way home at the thought of them dying from drowning or in some other horrific way. When I got home I raced to the television for the first time in my life and began searching rapidly through any news channel I could find. There was a CTV news show on after a programme and I waited agonizingly for the news broadcast to begin. When it did Bryer And Kam’s faces were the very first thing to appear on the screen as the energy just surged through my whole body and being. Maybe there was part of me anticipating that it was somebody else’s body’s out there but I felt my heart sink all over again as they had confirmed the body’s and clear suicide of these two boys. For the rest of that night I could not sleep, focus, or distract myself to the point where I was just pacing around the house. I then decided to go for a walk which became one of the longest walks of my life. I couldn’t help but reflect on the loss of such a beautiful and relatable boy as Bryer or the loss of his faithful brother and friend Kam. It was hard to think of someone so young gorgeous full of life and energy just completely gone from this world. I felt utter shock and dismay I feel like my heart had betrayed me as I felt deep down that the boys wouldn’t escape but would get too hungry, too ravaged by the bugs and the elements. That eventually they would turn themselves in facing the court getting probably multiple life sentences but I just really really really wanted to see my brybry just one more time..and I never will, the thought crushes me-cutie brybry

i legitimately cried over this too btw. 7 years... crazy how time flies....

I wonder what I would have done had they not killed themselves. I end up as one of those horses that write to inmates :P

alas we'll never know.

🖤 suddenly you see a trucks headlights coming down the road towards you

🖤 a guy steps out, and hes vaguely familiar? You ask him to help you with your car, but he just keeps coming closer

🖤 when he gets closer, you recognize him as Kam McLeod. And he has a gun on him

🖤 he stops and stares at you, looking shocked and... blushing? Your heart is POUNDING and youre too scared to speak, thinking you might be a dead body soon

🖤 then, he says “oh... i was gonna kill you but...your actually cute.”

🖤 you can hardly believe it when he looks ar your car and smiles. “I dont really have time to fix it, the cops are after me. But... I could always give you a ride...?”

🖤 OF COURSE you accept, because even though youre still kinda scared, you know hes not gonna hurt you

🖤 you get to your destination, and before you get out of the truck, he stops you. You think hes gonna kill you, but he pulls you in for a kiss instead

🖤 right then, you decide nothings more important than Kam, and you decide to stay with him and go on the run, leaving your old life behind
