yanin didn't allow herself to have many...friends. whether it was perseverance, or preservation, she really wasn't sure, nor would she delve deep enough into herself to ask. but what she was sure about, was that danbi had become one of them. she was apprehensive at first, having to share the only person she's held onto since her trainee days outside of her members, but danbi slotted into her world like a firm puzzle piece, hellbent on keeping its spot to create the masterpiece. when she was gone the first time. it was hard. but she had jinnie to lean on. but this time....this time was tough when she and jinnie hadn't seen each other in so long with their schedules failing to overlap. for the first time in awhile, she felt alone.

but that email confirming her return brought back a spark that had long cooled in her friends absence, and the moment she got a break, she went bounding around the building to find her, sweat and all. tidal's little wing of the building wasn't easy to miss, their gear was everywhere bustling past you to get tuned and polished, and she had to zig zag passed drum sets and guitar cases to find the girl deep into their practice spaces.

"you come here right now!" she yelled, not caring about interrupting them, running full speed for the bassist that made up the other half of her home.

"of course not. you're my sun and moon and all the stars." he plays along- however, his smile suddenly falters when he hears someone clear their throat. a sound that now instills fear into him. and although hes trying to remain calm- theres a hint of panic in his eyes. he chuckles awkwardly, signaling with his eyes to the lady standing not too far to the side who was most likely listening into their conversation. who else could it be but his boss, an old grouchy lady who liked everything done by the book. "well if i quit right now then whos going to make you the most delicious drink you've ever had? hm?"

"you're damn right." she teased him finally leaning up against the counter. it still made her really sad that seungho no longer worked for the company. they were friends after all, and after finally finding a family it was like every where she turned parts of it was getting taken away from her. a pout graced her lips at the obvious hovering of the management. "he's doing great thank you for the help but i think he's got it!" she said cheerfully as if to compliment his work though she hadn't ordered yet. "i just want an americano, iced please. i've got rehersal later for the comeback. you think you can get off for the video shoot?" she asked honestly, loud enough for the hovering employer to hear and hopefully guilting them into giving seungho the time off. "and i want you to make it, no one else please."

with no luck finding a new styling job, seungho had started to truly doubt his abilities. if it hadn't been for his friends and family reassuring him this was just a rough patch he needed to wait out- he probably would've fallen into a dark place. and sitting at home online shopping had done nothing to help his financial situation. oops? so he decided to just start applying to any business with a 'help wanted' sign out front. turns out finding a job wasn't so hard after all. it just wasn't what his heart was set on- but he can't complain either. a small cafe close to the infinite building had hired him and he actually found it to be quite fun. his personal favorite drink to make was the lattes. a coworker had even showed him how to make the cute cat design on top. best of all- he got to see familiar faces every now and again when they stopped by for a quick pick me up. "welcome." he says with a smile as they approached the counter. "what can i get started for you?"

her board scraped the ground as she headed towards the infinite building. her own break was finally over and she was to start on comeback preparations as well as another solo release just like that. things were harder these days but her dad told her all she had to do was power through it. so she was doing that today. stopping short in front of the little cafe she fumbled her way inside with the long board, already gazing up at the menu. because of that she was brought back to reality by the sound of a familiar voice, a genuine smile gracing her lips, "you motherfucker that's how you're going to greet me?" she teased him dragging the board along. "am i merely just a customer to you? i thought i meant more than that!" her smile was still cheeky as she leaned against the counter he was behind, "get the fuck out of here right now seungho what are you even talking about." though she was sure he had to resort to whatever measures he could these days. "i dont want you working here. quit right now." she was hoping the playful protest would make him smile a little more than just for customer service.

yanin smiled wide as she balanced the board beneath her feet food in hand. "um i fucking missed you?" she barked pushing past him. "i brought black noodles and corndogs." yani expressed flowing through his homes main space as if she lived there. she flopped down on the couches cushions, crossing her leg over the other. "did you watch the eclipse like i told you?" yanin questioned her friend giving him a small smile before it was covered by a gasp, "you think i finally got my psychic powers?"
