HI AGAIN AGAIN i bring the other half of this au! one might say the... side b..... aaaanyway this au kind of entirely sprung from this video and the idea of the fun gang owning a shop in undertale! mores:

at the end of the journey, kris willingly gave up their soul with the hope that the others could someday live happily on the surface. there's probably definitely some self loathing involved also. man all my recent posts about kris have had them in serious mode i gotta draw them being a goober to compensate

susie and ralsei didn't really have anywhere to go after high school, so they found an old empty house in snowdin, borrowed money from noelle's mom and turned it into their little shop

said shop sells: -metal tools made by susie. she's still far from a master blacksmith but she has a lot of fun with it and takes pride in all her work -baked goods made by ralsei. susie also makes fun baking supplies on occasion (cookie cutters shaped like skateboards and stuff like that) -various airport type snacks, courtesy of noelle. i have in mind an ice water item that heals extra in hotland

speaking of noelle: she's at college in hotland! she's melting but she enjoys the freedom. she wanted to study game design but her mom pushed her into computer science. i imagine in this universe her mom works with energy production/distribution and the core (like making sure ice wolf hits quotas) considering the underground politics scene is really weird, especially in snowdin

they also do small sewing commissions (like fixing buttons and sewing on patches) and live music on fridays i really want to draw more for this au but i have to artfight for now wahhhhh

HI AGAIN take another deltarune au before i lock in for artfight again! in which kris was the cyan/aqua soul in undertale and the other three adventured with them to the barrier! i have quite a bit floating around in my brain (and this is only half of this idea!) but some tidbits for now:

-they're all around 13 ish during the adventure and college age in undertale’s present. this isn't accurate to the actual undertale timeline in the slightest but liiiiike. it's already an au does that really matter -noelle and susie are both regular monsters running away from home. ralsei is a monster's imaginary friend made real with magic and then abandoned -ralsei’s creator was a toriel lover/asgore hater who instilled the value of helping and protecting humans in him. as a result, when he finds kris in snowdin, he absolutely insists on helping them get back to the surface. and also he has big nerves about meeting asgore -still haven't quite decided on how susie and noelle get involved but they're classmates who knew about each other as much as they did in chapter 1 before the adventure. noelle still has a crush but it's not quite as intense (yet....)

hi take my shitty animatic + au idea

kris gets the undertale soul reset powers and uses them to hunt for an ending where they can both find dess and protect their friends from horrible fates. (unfortunately i've been lightly converted to rudy knightism so for the sake of this they're working with the holiday parents to plunge the world in deepest darkness so they can look for dess)

every time they reset, they go back to chapter 1's beginning and the soul gets a little weaker. its control over them loosens over time, but they get weaker too. and also kralsusie angst wheeee

also also here's that one frame because i really like how it turned out but you barely see it in the final
