     as much as he’s usually okay with breaking rules—don’t tell his brother!—he’s still a little bit apprehensive when audrianna had suggested that they break into the back office to get food. honestly, they could’ve ordered food from anywhere or even just gone to a fast food chain. or gotten chicken. they could’ve gotten chicken, but no. instead, they’re sneaking into the back office because the other had claimed that they probably wouldn’t get in trouble for it. 

     “okay, but she better cover for me too,” is his only response eventually. also, subin is obviously there with her so it wasn’t like he had been that hard to convince. honestly, he’s always up for mischief and a good time. and with food involved? it was a done deal before he had even thought of any repercussions. “what do they even keep in the back though? the cafeteria usually sells out before the day is over.”

　 .　　 .　 ♥︎   ❛   𝒔𝒉𝒆  𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒔  𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌  𝒕𝒐  𝒉𝒆𝒓  𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆  𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉  𝒂  𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒆  𝒐𝒏  𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒆, motioning with a hand to pick up his speed. “stop worrying, you worrywart. if ever we get in trouble she’ll cover for you too— you’ve got full permission to kick me to mars if ever she doesn’t.” and while her tone sure is convincing, she isn’t even sure her older sister would actually cover for her to begin with. that’s a little secret she isn’t going to spill though, not when the other is obviously already nervous enough as it is. something tells her subin usually doesn’t bend and break the rules like this and now she’s highly curious. “you don’t usually sneak around like this, do you?” 

it really is a simple question as to why all of the good junk food are kept in a back office somewhere at the west wing in the building though: the faculty, of course. audrianna’s seen enough and has been there often enough to know that the faculty usually likes hiding junk food there for their won benefit. “it’s because the professors love to snack in between classes.” she casually answers, finally finding the right door. fingers prod to the keypad lock once sure, a smile of success brushing up on her lips at the sound of the hinge coming undone. “they deliver all the good food here, you’d be surprised how full it always is.”

garnet droplets bead at the surface of the cut on her index finger and drip down the length of her palm, forming thin rivers of scarlet. she’d been whining for homemade kimchi jjeon the whole day and she’d finally relented half an hour ago, but never would she have predicted that such an accident would occur. tugging her out of the kitchen into the living room to get a better look at the wound, she sighs softly, concern swimming within the depths of her eyes. “that’s it. we’re heading to the school clinic now. that’s way too deep of a wound and i’m 300% sure you’re gonna need stitches for it.”

　 .　　 .　 ♥︎ ❛ 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆’𝒔  𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒚  𝒂  𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆  𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕  𝒂𝒖𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂  𝒊𝒔  𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅  𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒆. in between the overly clingy, extra adorable roommate she has that likes to trail after her wherever she goes, she’s either surrounded by her team mates from sports and clubs, or surrounded by classmates who she usually flocks the campus with. so when the random stranger approaches her with a familiar stench stained against the fabrics of his clothing and a god forbidden smirk that ignites a small fear onto her, she couldn’t help but whisk out her phone and sit in one of the spare chairs the convenient store had. she refuses to look outside for the small possibility of the stranger being out there— and if he was audrianna is sure it’s amusing to watch her silently faking her distress. 

the initial call is to her older sister. pick up, pick up, 姐姐... 

and yet disappointment washes through her as the dial tone goes flat, straight to the voicemail that seemed to have been a pattern these days. let’s try to call theo.. 

but when you’re shit out of luck the ball just starts to roll until you’re drained out of options, because theodora isn’t answering either and she’s now unsure of who to call. until she’s notified of a text message from summer about doing yoga together, her fingers desperately and quickly texting her of the alarming situation she’s gotten into.

and as other people inside the fast food place begins to groan in annoyance, audrianna is left to sulk against her seat, a small pout painting itself to her lips. there’s a sudden scorching heat that rises up rather fast now that the electricity has been cut, the power outage revealing the old building’s lack of a generator. and even though she knows better than to not have a stupid little look on her face she can’t help but be annoyed at the situation. 

“all i wanted to do was eat. eat and enjoy my chicken and say thanks hansung oppa, your chemistry tips worked like magic.” her pout is more visible than ever now as she folds her arm across her chest, chiming additionally, “looks like our weather forecast for tonight is nothing but darkness though. no chicken.”

step one: what to draw? 

her mind titters back and forth between the possibilities as she occasionally steal glances at what sejun is doing, second guessing that perhaps it’s sand castles. or maybe he’s also figuring out what to draw just like she was?

step two: a silly, immature, very, very childish idea. 

a devious grin tugs at her lips and she finally gets moving, neither nudging or moving much as she turns her back on him. she’s not the greatest artist, she really isn’t— but when she tries, she really tries. and what better way than to put the anatomy pictures live in sand action right here, right now? she practically lived inside the pages of frank h. netter’s atlas of human anatomy the past two semesters that she embodies exactly what each body part looks like. 

step three: here goes nothing.

“look, look, look!” she calls for sejun​​, immediately lightening up as amused laughter spills out of her.  “i drew a giant penis in the sand !!”
