i had a dream last night that the entire world used a currency (?) called angrypennies which as the name implies are obtained by experiencing anger. the stronger and more intense your anger was, the more angrypennies you'd gain. an all-consuming rage would earn you more than a slight irritation, etc. so people were always searching for ways to fuel their anger and purposefully keeping themselves angry all the time because they wanted to earn angrypennies. unclear if angrypennies could be exchanged for goods and services, or if they were just a collectible.

anyway, as if this wasn't heavy-handed enough, at one point british comedian greg davies appeared and explained that angrypennies couldn't be worth feeling angry all the time. this was a real revelation to dream-me and i was finally able to break free of the angrypenny grind and allow myself to experience emotions other than anger.

it goes without saying that i will be using the word angrypenny as if it was part of the common vernacular instead of a term that my dreaming brain conjured up i.e. "he's all about the angrypennies" (derogatory way to refer to a guy who searches for reasons to be angry and possibly lacks introspection)

i had a dream i was playing undertale and i got to the snowy area and it was mostly the same but papyrus was replaced with this new character Prunsel.

Prunsel’s sprite was a high-contrast black and white photorealistic eyeball, roughly twice as big as papyrus, and looking directly at the viewer. whenever Prunsel “spoke”, the music completely cut out and instead of text it was an ominous red glow emanating from the text box

Plurality Over Time - Ask Game

Hi! I made another ask game since folks liked the last one. This one is oriented towards folks who've been plural for a while and would like to talk about how their plural experience has changed over time. However, there are no rules around how old or experienced you and your system have to be. If these questions resonate with you, then you can participate!

As before, all systems are welcome to participate as long as you respect the spirit of the post and don't drag discourse onto it. Feel free to copy and paste this wherever with or without credit, a bunch of these questions were lifted from other places anyway. I tried to pick or at least phrase questions to be as inclusive as possible, but I've almost certainly missed things - plurality is diverse and my system only experiences a small corner of it. I encourage people to make their own ask games!

dedede gets possessed by dark matter and his stomach turns into a horrifying mouth with sharp teeth

it is HEAVILY implied that shiver star is actually earth, frozen over due to climate change and entirely abandoned by humans

you get a really big sword. you kill several minibosses with it in one shot and then use it to cut a volcano in half. inside the volcano is a portal to a monochrome alternate universe which is in a constant process of being consumed by the void

kirby gets his shortcake stolen and in the process of trying to get it back accidentally releases satan

the description of the final boss of kirby’s return to dream land describes him as “a liar and a wizard”

you fight a big gorilla. halfway through the fight it just goes fucking super saiyan. it uses a goddamn spirit bomb on you

one of the final bosses shoots his own blood at you. after you beat him he will literally tear out his own eye and make it chase you around in a last-ditch attempt to kill you

Meta Knight is actually just Hank J Wimbleton. They are both all about fight. They want to live for the thrill of the fight, they both live to take lives of others in order to feel alive. And I respect that.

I can't believe home depot literally produced a wildly successful science fiction musical and we all just pretend it didn't happen. on one hand yes it had a boring white guy main character but like.... home depot just...
