Heyo! So i forgot to mention this but im joining artfight for the fifth time this year

Here are some villian characters i made for a potential comic about supervillians. The Lethal Mist. The lethal mist is a group of villians set on defeating a rival superhero group. (I still havent decided on the name for the group)

Killjoy Veronica:Psychic powers and flight.

Red Shuriken:An extremely acrobatic ninja with exploding shurikens as weapons.

Thalassa:Ability to use blood for both defensive uses and for flight.

StumpRoot:A tree monster with the ability to grow trees out of the ground that he uses for attacks.

Blackeye:Has the ability use the shadows near him as weapons for defense.

SugarRush:A girl made out of candy and carries a giant lollipop and has the abilities to turn objects into candy by touching them with her hands.

Frostbite:She has the ability to throw ice as projectiles and freeze anything she touches.

Tearjerker:An emotionally sad fish who has the ability to use his tears as projectiles.

Hemlock:Has the ability to emit toxic gases to either knock out her enemies or to use it to hide and sneakily attack her enemies.

Inkpot:Always carries a notebook and pencil and has the ability to draw objects and creatures to come alive and aid him in battles.

Heyo! Im new here. And i want to tell an idea for a graphic novel i have called "Scented Soul". Its a graphic novel about two people who only have one intrests they share and also work their mundane jobs by day and work together as indie musicians by night. Im currently writing a script for the novel. If you guys have any suggestions,feedbacks or changes for the story or then i would love to hear it.

Note from a graphic designer who has to fix this shit all day: rich black is prettier sure but for the love of the gods don’t use it for text if it’s going on newsprint. If its anything other than solid black it will bleed out and become unreadable.

Half my job is fixing this mistake all day from people who really really should know better. And now you know!

^exactly. Rich black is definitely better for graphics or large hits of black if you want it to be REALLY black and not look washed out. Especially if you’re printing in CMYK only (no spot colors), a rich black can really help tie your art together.

I have a LOT of affection for this comic!! It was the biggest butterfly effect I've ever had in my life, I can't even imagine what my life would be like today if I hadn't discovered Homestuck when I was 15, it had such an impact in my life
