Hello, SonicAsura I would like your thoughts on a Ben 10 Alien that I think is pretty cool that we know so little about, that Alien being from the reboot continuity
Bashmouth
I love this Alien's design and set of abilites, and I want to know more about their species, but that information hasn't been given. I feel that Bashmouth is supposed to be a parallel of Rath's species Appoplexians. I think this would be awesome, these two species that have a sort of rivalry and may even hold annual tournaments to prove whose better. I want to more info on Bashmouths species but that may take awhile. So what are your thoughts on Bashmouth? Love to hear them.
I had to look him up on the wiki as I really despise the reboot and swore never to watch it.
A rivalry between Bashmouth and Rath's species is very plausible. Other than the obvious cat vs dog scenario, both are very prideful especially when it pertains to skill or sheer power. The former would use a form of boxing to counter any Appoplexian wrestling style.
Best way to describe Bashmouth and his feline rivals is two peas in a pod. Well, if the pod is a fight club.
Today's robot girl is Aria from Zenless Zone Zero, i believe? (This is another request from a discord friend, i havent played ZZZ nor do i plan to. But shes cool)m
I dont know if both sides of her counts as a robot but the left one absolutely does
context again, because it’s so confusing: macroverse caine in the backup au. VR headset and stuff. supposedly knows how to stop abel (but most likely fails all the time)
Banyues core wasn't taken away, but you finally knew of his past and he was worried your perspective of him would change
I finally finished his quest and immediately started writing this its fluffy and kinda sappy and corny with like an aroma of angst stay safe
Banyue was a nervous wreck after things had calmed down.
Dialyn hadn't taken his core, instead he ended up joining the Krampus. It was as close as they would get to obtaining his core he presumed. He was grateful that his friends wholeheartedly acceoted his past, it was a journey for him to accept himself, but he was greeted with open arms. That is, until he remembered you.
You were there that day. You'd heard everythujg Dialyn had said. You heard everything he said. He was unable to have a conversation with you, so much ruckus was going about he barely had time to think. He'd noticed you yourself haven't exactly been going out of your way to speak with him. He was worried to say the least. To say the most would mean he was going to pull his mane out, stick it back in, then pull it out again along with his tail. He wanted to see you, hear your voice, see you laugh, but it felt like you were a rare occurence.
His mood was noticeable. Movement less sharp than before, a sigh escaping every so often, slumped body posture, all not very Banyue-like. He couldn't help it. Every second of every day just felt like he was a dog waiting for his owner to come back.
His students were mildly freaked out about it. They had been making a few mistakes in training, but Banyue had barely noticed. They all glanced at one another, unsure if they should ask. They picked up on his mood shift, plus, his special friend hadn't visited in a while. They wrongly assumed you were his lover that one time and they would never erase the memory of a bashful Shifu Banyue from their minds.
Whenever he brought you over, it was as if something else possessed him. Something soft and mushy to be more specific. He frets over you if you accidentally trip or hit something, watches you so closely they swore a hole would burn right through you, and the most telling of it all, his tail. They've seen it move idly, but with you around? It was like a freight train. The more you looked and smiled at him, the faster it went. The moment your gaze fell elsewhere, it sagged and slowed down. The studebts never brought it up. They held in every laugh and snort at their smitten shifu.
"Shifu," a student began nervously, "is everything alright?"
Banyue nodded sluggishly, "I am fine...no worries..."
They could only worry.
There was a gathering at Suibian Temple, a simple dinner. At least that is what it was meant to be, until Banyue picked up your smell and scanned the area for you. He could never mistake a smell, so he continued looking. Greeting a familair face every so often, but not the face he wanted to see the most. Did you hate him? Were you disgusted by his actions now?
He paused in a much less crowded area, your scent getting stronger. He glanced around until his gaze landed on his saving grace, you. Your perfect silhouette was right in front of him and he could barely move. You were gazing at the scenery, a small smile gracing your face.
He clenches his fist. It's now or never right? All he needs to do is ask the simple silly questiom; do you hate him and want him out of your sight for the rest of your life on account for his past or do you still like his presence? Simple, easy, no dire consequences for either party. Fighting ethereals was easier than this.
He coughed into his fist and you turn in recognition to that mechanically deep voice of his greeting you.
"Hello...it has...been a while..."
You blink, "Banyue, hey," he's blasted past his axis as your smile is directed at him, "it has hasn't it? I'm sorry about that, just been busy."
You take a few steps towards him and he stays rock solid, afraid any sudden movement would frighten you away. You were speaking to him normally. No fear in your voice. No fear in your eyes. It was as if nothing had changed. As though he hadn't revealed his deepest secret. As though you thought him the same robot.
"Is that so," he says quietly, "have you been well?"
"Yeah, had to travel here and there for bussiness but came back just in time for the dinner."
He nods, "Was it too loud for you?"
"Hm?" You tilt your head at him and it takes years of discipline grabbing at him not to squeeze your face.
"Since you are away from the noises, it's quiet here."
You make a noise of understanding, "Observant as ever," you chuckle lightly, "but no, actually. It wasn't the...noise."
Your gaze lands to the side and he tenses. You were clearly avoiding looking at him. He knows you dislike loud areas, yet this time volume wasn't your issue. The only option the lion could conjure was that you wanted to get away from him.
"I'm sorry."
You whip your head to look back up at him, "Huh?"
"You wanted to avoid me yet I came looking for you," he bowed his head, "I apologize for not respecring your space."
He foolishly let himself hope. You smiled when you greeted him, but that could easily be faked. He should've given you the soace, the time to think, but his want to see you overtook all senses. Guilt and shame riddled him.
"Woah woah Banyue!"
You waved your hands with a nervous breath laughter escaping you, "That's-- that's not what this is!"
He lifts his head, "It...isn't?"
"No, not in the least," you furrow your eyebrows, hands hesitantly reaching for his, "I'm...I'm not avoiding you...please believe me."
Your hands finally come into contact with his. Soft, warm flesh upon hard steeled metal. A pairing so unheard of. His gaze bores into you, speechless.
"Then why haven't I seen you in so long?"
He doesn't move his hands to hold yours no matter how much he wants to. They stay put, but so do yours.
"I actually was busy," you sigh, "I know it seems like I'm making excuses, but you have no idea how much I wanted to talk to you."
That sentence hit him straight through his core. You wanted to talk to him. You actually had work?
"After that though...I was scared," you felt his hand flinch and corrected yourself, "not of you Banyue, never of you. Of me."
"I don't understand."
"I was scared that I'd mess up talking to you and make you think I hate you but I don't! Not at all!"
He gives in and holds your hands in his fully, holding them in front of the two of you. Your eyes widen at his sudden contact.
"You know what I've done," he began slowly, trying to find the words witbout stumbling, "the people who have suffered because of me, lost because of me, died because...because of me...can you still say you don't hate me?"
You shake your head, "No, you're still the same man who's helped so many people, who's helped me."
Man.
He repeats it in his head. He'll store that away along with all the other things you say to him that makes his non-existent heart do martial arts.
"Banyue you're more than your past, I know the you today, and I love you as you...are..." you slowly realize rhe words coming out of your mouth.
Banyue does too. His eyes widen slightly. His face was never as expressive as a human, but even you could see the surprise.
He relenquishes all logic from his body and leans down a little to pull your hands to his face, "You love me?"
Your face reddens, "I--I mean," you're suddenly aware of everything, "yes, if it doesn't bother you. If it does I'll take it back!"
His face was warm, solid, and real.
"Please don't, I want you to mean it like I do."
He says it so softly. With a delicacy that should be saved for handling precious treasures, not a confession.
Yet here he was.
You resolve. You gently move his face closer to yours and place your foreheads together, eyes shut comfortably, "I mean it. I mean it entirely."
His fans whir at the contact, hands steadily holding yours in place.
"Thank you."
"You're supposed to say something else," you open your eyes and smile at him.
His tail begins to wag frantically.
"O--oh," he clears his throat, "I love--"
"Are they kissing?"
The both of you spin to the voice, Ju Fufu and Zhao standing there. Zhao slaps the tiger thiren, "I told you not to interrupt them!"
Banyue releases his hold on you, stumbling back. You could only stay still in absolute mortification at being caught.
"Uhm," Zhao coughs with Ju Fufu whining over the whack, "everyones about to leave so we came looking for you two..."
"Of course, let's go Banyue!"
You speed walk away from embarrassment and Banyue follows with similar feelings.
Everyone begins waving goodbye, you make a motion for Banyue to call you before you finally leave. He sighs like a schoolboy in love before Yixuan speaks up, "Finally made up?"
He itches his neck, "Uhm, yes it would seem."
She smiles knowingly. The party wasn't random. The whole purpose was to get the two of you to talk. But you both didn't need to know that.
