To Find Balance

What I do I do for the good of all of the worlds. Balance needs to be restored. I will not eradicate the Darkness because one cannot have light without darkness too. Balance is key. Light appeared in the library and glanced around.

“Oh. Hello there.” Wow. He could see her clear as anything. He gives her a very cheerful smile. “Welcome to…well..what’s left of Inner City library..” At least there was now a lot of natural sunlight to illuminate the place for him.

Light looked over to the boy when she heard him speak to her. She smiled back at him. "Thank you very much." She replied. From the little she saw the library looked like it had, had better days. "May I ask what happened?"

“You could say that, but I tend to veer more toward the personal destruction," she explained with a short sigh, "Aqua has a lot of relationships, all of which are fun to explore.”

"And all of which I am sure you would like to rip apart and destroy for her so her life will be in ruins once she eventually regains control of her body."

"Well then. That saved me quite a bit of trouble seeing as I now don’t have to ask the very questions on my mind. I suppose they must be rather common then?" He laughed lightly and slipped gloved hands into his pockets as he studied her.

"I am glad to have saved you the effort then. Yes, those are fairly common questions. Not many venture here intentionally." She replied with a bit of a smile and observed him as he studied her.

Wow, it has been quite a while since I have been around here. Being a cosmic force keeps one rather busy. How has everyone been?

“I am his little sister, designed to drain his power. To keep the balance in the world. He practically hates my guts. And no, him freaking out is so not good. The last time he freaked out, he started a fight with Vitae and they killed off the dinosaurs.” She laughed lightly, thinking about how pissed she had been at them.

Light gave a nod. "I can't imagine that would make you very popular with him either." She raised an eyebrow when the dinosaurs were brought up. "So the last time resulted in mass extinctions."

"Some information would be useful." Such as where in the name of Minerva he’d found himself this time. He made a mental note to try and control this annoying world hopping ability of his in the near future.

"Right, I am sure it would. You are currently in The Realm of Light, and I am Light." She said, answering the two most frequently asked questions. "We are currently in the garden area."

“He’d probably freak out. He doesn’t like many people’s company. Even mine.” She shrugged. “Which of course means I bug him at every opportunity. Most people enjoy being around Vitae. He is the pleasant one. I even enjoy his company. Sometimes.”

"I cannot imagine that would be a good or safe thing for him to be freaked out." She replied and then looked amused for a moment. "Of course. It is a given since you are his sister, isn't it? And I do not think it is possible to enjoy someone's company all the time."

Light regarded the newcomers curiously. All of them had red hair, and two of them looked familiar. "Good afternoon to you. Is there something that you need?"

She nodded. “Sounds like my brothers. Kyrian is only tolerant at the most. I’ve never seen him actually enjoy one’s company. And Vitae is just bubbly. He can be overwhelming at times.” She smiled, thinking of her brothers.

"Perhaps he would enjoy Darkness' company given that they have similar personalities from what I have seen. Or perhaps they wouldn't get along for the same reason." Light gave a small shrug. "I found Vitae pleasant to be around."
