Really quick ooc post.
I don't really mind if people talk about the stuff going on in America right now. It's really shitty, scary, and deserves to be talked about. I just ask if you would like to talk about it please tag those posts made with something that can be blocked. Such as politics or roe v wade. This is my escape from reality and I'd really like to block out any of the political stuff going on right now. My brain can't handle it.

There was an urge to say 'Too late, you already look like a clown.' But she fought against it, not wanting to provoke Shadow further. "I get it handsome, but at least give it a chance. If you don't like it I won't bother you about it anymore. But everyone, including you, deserves to spoil themselves every now and then."
Low, incomprehensible words came out in a grumble as Shadow ducked his head further between his shoulders. Something about spoiling? Even he wasn't sure what he was saying at this point. He was grumbling for the sake of grumbling. Just Shadow things.
After a moment he gently closed his eyes, lifting his head towards the bat. "I don't need to spoil myself." His voice lost its' sharp tone. Brought down to something more subdued, almost melancholy. "You already spoil me enough."
//Oof I need to get back on tumblr. Sorry for the sudden lack of...anything. My brain has been very scattered now that I'm home and starting work again in a few days. Tumblr is a little mentally hard to be on right now for some reason.
While others might have taken that as the cue to MOVE, Spinbot wasn't like the others. Sonic might have zipped out of the way, getting as much distance between them as possible--but Spinbot? He thrust his own hand forward, shoving his thumb into Shadow's mouth, grabbing him by the jaw, and PUSHED him to the ground, all the while that mad grin splitting his muzzle.
"What was THAT about MOPPING the floor with MY FACE, Ultimate Disappointment? Hhaaahahahaha!" His optics were wide with malice, his face making expressions that were so unlike Sonic's, it would have frightened even the hardiest of Rebels. "COME ON, Shadow, COME ON! Hit me! HURT ME! Rip me UP! It'll NEVER BE ENOUGH, you Ultimate LOSER." Spinbot's heat vents opened, expelling scalding hot steam as kinetic energy crackled over his blue quills.
Of all the things he expected Spin's thumb being shoved into his mouth was not one of them. He hit the ground with a hard crack. The spear in his hand fizzled out as he struggled against the robot's grip. Barely able to see the maniacal face.
It wasn't Spinbot's words that horrified him, it wasn't even his expression. It was how violent and twisted his voice sounded. How delighted he was to be crushing the face of someone he knew in a past life.
"Rrrhhh!" Shadow growled, still with Spin's thumb in his mouth. He clenched his eyes shut, focusing, pooling chaos energy into his jaw as he bit down. Hard. His bite was already strong enough to crush bone, no thanks to the Black Arms. But with a little chaos energy he maybe he could...
Metal creaked under his teeth. All at once the thumb snapped. Wires and internal mechanisms were ripped off like a lion tearing tendons off a fresh kill. He let the now detached digit drop to the ground and kicked on the jets in his shoes, propelling himself to what he assumed to be a safe distance.
"Do not -- underestimate me -- HEDGEHOG!" And here he comes, barreling towards Spinbot. Leaving a trail of dust and fire in his wake. Fist pulled back ready to smack the the hedgehog right in the mouth.
“Bring it, Shads, but you won’t even get the chance to reach my hiney–I’m gonna be LAPS ahead of ya!”
He snaps away, gone for all of two seconds before reappearing, holding an xbox controller. "We'll see how smart your comments are when you're choking on my dust."

Which is why he was currently sitting inside the lobby of the hotel, sprawled back against a couch. Sunglasses sat on his face, covering his closed eyes. A red Hawaiian shirt draped off his shoulders, unbuttoned. He held a small electric fan on the highest setting, pointed directly at his face.
Someone get this hedgehog a bucket of ice to sit in.
Well… unfortunately it’s no bucket of ice, but she’s still brought him something that’ll hopefully grant some relief — a refreshing lemonade, fit with a tiny umbrella! It’s even got a few ice cubes, shaped like stars; almost too cute for drinking. Amy carefully seats herself next to him on the couch and offers the glass with a sympathetic manner.
“This’ll help.” She says, casually. “Usually I’d say that a little sunshine never hurt anyone, but you look like you’re melting..! I’m sorry.”
Oh, good, great. There was the sound of footsteps coming toward him. Perfect. Just what he needed while he was dying from heat stroke, conversation. Maybe if he kept his eyes closed and didn't move this unexpected visitor would leave him alone. Too late. His ear had already perked and he could hear whoever it was taking a seat next to him on the couch.
A growl formed on his face as he pushed his sunglasses up, catching sight of the pink petite hedgehog beside him. She was holding out a glass of lemonade to him. Just the sight of the condensation dripping down the side of the glass made his mouth dry. He really didn't need to eat or drink to survive, but right now, in this heat, he was pretty sure he'd shrivel up and combust if he didn't quench his thirst.
Almost too quickly he snatched the glass from Amy's hand, chugging it as if it would suddenly evaporate. "Uhg..." He sighed, flopping back against the couch after downing the entire glass. Yeah, that hit the spot. Oh, yeah, that's right. He still had company.
"...Thank you." He peeked over at Amy. "I...don't do well with heat. Thick fur was not one of the professors...brightest -- ACH." And there set in the brain freeze. Queue Shadow doubling over, holding his head in his hand. "Blasted temperature..."

Y'all know me, I'm not one to shit up the dash with anon hate. But I just needed to post this one. Just this once.
If only to say; dear anon, if me and my blog bother you so much that you needed to take time out of your day to send this shit to me, then I implore you to locate the block button, press it, close the computer, and lay down in the grass for at minimum 20 minuets.

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard it before. You think you're special, Shadow? You're not. I know all about you--I've got Sonic's memories, and the Boss has filled me in on tons of data... How're you supposed to get anything done when you couldn't even protect your own family?" The blue robian brings his hands forward, snapping his fingers into a pistol figure, "You couldn't even save Sonic from being turned into Eggman's Next Top Killer. You're washed up, you're a joke. We all know it. You know it, too."
"You're too much of a failure to be a winner like me, it's true. I know."
Crimson eyes squinted down to slits as Spinbot went on his monologue. Another chaos spear crackled to life in his hand. The bastard really was full of himself, huh? Muscles tightened as he gripped the shaft of the spear.
"Are you finished?" He asked, taking a step forward. In a snap of blue light he was face to face with the other hedgehog. The spear was raised, held just beside Spin's head.
"If you're done gloating, I'd like to proceed in mopping the floor with your face."

What can you do here? Well, you can do whatever you want! Go for a swim, have a cookout, catch some rays, hang out in your room, have drinks–Do what pleases you. There are very few rules for this location and event itself.
