Few days ago, I went to Whoaremaro’s Life Drawing Setup as one of their featured artist! I’m glad I finally met other local artists (hello Jappy, Nando, Rian&Koi!). The models were superb! Hands down to their endurance in maintaining elegant poses.

Recently

I noticed my flaws with my paintings. Like how I would paint only female portraits and tend to leave backgrounds white. Maybe I should focus more on sketching/painting backgrounds, still life, poses. I really wanted to improve with my art. I’ll probably dump all my practice sketches here at Tumblr and post more finished art at my IG.

Last year’s detailed witch room painting. I luckily handed this over before the Ang Ink’s Tinker Taler Exhibit at the Ayala Museum. I’ll definitely paint more rooms as a personal project!

I attended the Life Drawing Setup by @whoaremaro x @artwhaleph. This was a first for me since I haven’t had any formal lessons on drawing and it was nice to see people both young and old all focused sketching the model. The event was 7pm-10pm but we ended the session around 11pm,. It was fun meeting @arncyn @megandino @krinkledoodles and new peeps too! I’ll be definitely joining the next one.
