The character was also featured extensively in cinema, television, radio, comic strips and comic books for over 90 years, and has become an archetype of the evil criminal genius while lending the name to the Fu Manchu moustache. The character of Fu Manchu was a highly pejorative stereotype often associated with the Yellow Peril. There have been many #cheese flicks made about this character. He was in an early black and white BATMAN serial that I watched recently on TCM, or a stereotype based on the character. I enjoyed his part more than 'the batman'
