On February 10th after being Phoenix's companion for 15 years it was Riley's time to cross that rainbow bridge. She was still so full of life, I didn't want them to put her down. I had saved her life once before, but I was powerless to do anything that day. I did everything I could to make that day as beautful and effortless as possible, because some how, when you make the hardest things you'll have to do beautiful and graceful it's a little less painful. Here's to the best damn adventure cat ever. 3 weeks from today Poncho passed away two years ago, followed 4 days later by my father.

So, I’m not like super-big-into God, or anything, but I felt drawn to visit The Cathedral of Christ the Light on the shores of Lake Merritt and I have to say I was deeply touched and struck in awe of something majestic on a grand scale that breeched the far expanse of my imagination.
