Stranded in the airport on New Year's Eve, Alex and Henry are brought together by a simple right place at the right time scenario. After spending the night together and sharing an intimate moment, the two are forced back to their regular lives. But it's not the end, as the twists of fate that originally brought them together continue for two more New Year’s Eves, one that tears them apart and one that may finally bring them together.

NEW YEARS EVE 2019 – HENRY
Henry doesn’t quite remember falling asleep.
He does, however, remember his flight having been delayed due to a blizzard and he remembers sifting through the crowd of people until he was able to find a seat in the crowded airport. It was his fault, really. He had been warned by multiple people, including the nice elderly lady at the ticket office that traveling on New Year’s Eve wasn’t a wise decision. But Henry was stubborn and all he really wanted to do was be in the right time zone when the new year rang in.
“Oh good, you’re awake. I must admit, I was worried there for a minute, sweetheart,” a voice says. Henry startles, lifting his head and promptly freezing gas he comes face to face with, well arguably, the most gorgeous man that he has ever laid eyes on. Henry swallows hard, unable to speak, unable to do much of anything but stare. Then, realisation hits him, and he feels a blush travel up his neck. He had been sleeping on this man.
“Christ,” Henry says, his voice hoarse from not having been used in, well, Henry doesn’t even know how long he had been sleeping for. God, it could have been hours. “I do apologise.”
The man smiles and it manages to send Henry into even more of a whirlwind. In all his time traveling, Henry has never witnessed someone be so downright beautiful after having been sat in an airport for God knows how long.
