I was actually really fine with Fina taking off onto her photographer journey to learn more skills, and come back after travelling, or going to school, or do who knows what that meant professional growth.

But leaving without a word is actually one of the worth case scenario I could imagine. I remember quite well reading/crying over a fanfiction where it (kinda) did happen.

Thing I’m looking forward with where we seem to head from today’s episode : Fina coming back HAS to mean the end of Pelayo and I can’t wait to see this unravel.

This character is so Evil.

No doubt in the fact that Mafin will be reunited and hopefully they get a bit of quiet time after this drama and they get back together stronger than ever.

Timeline wise :

If this week is actually the end of Mafin on screen before they reunite. Let’s do a little bit of math/suppositions.

So we are what? 3 to 4 months behind filming? They filmed in Mafinca 20 weeks ago 🫣

Baby isn’t born yet (or so it seems). Yes I googled maternity leave in Spain (3months). One months of vacation ?! This all means that we would be at least 6 to 7 months without Fina/Alba on screen ?

Please correct me if my math is wrong (please do) . I hope it is !!

I still struggle to figure out the show timeline, it seems like Sumer never came back, that we are still in winter, maybe spring.

Mafin might be separated less than the time it will take us to get their story, but we will still have to go through all those months.

I guess with just have to brace ourselves for it.

Lot’s going on for those two !!

I don’t know who I’m the most worried for.

Fina dealing with her PTSD and having a hidden life. Because she expressed it and will keep doing so, she will be able to get through it with the help of her friends, maybe Digna (Andres maybe as well).

The fact that she will always be in the shadow and won’t be able to live her life with her Love freely is being more and more of an issue.

Martha on the other hand… she’s dealing with all her traumas and not knowing how to respond to it for herself so, obviously she doesn’t know how to respond to Fina’s distress.

Every episodes I’m still wondering how she manage to keep it together and how much more she can take before exploding. The twist of hair is back, which is proof of how stressed out she is and probably not just because of the panic attack.

On other notes :

With the amount of people who know about them and support them. It’s time for them to have this dinner at Mafinca to try and get a sense of real life together.

Let’s have Digna, Carmen (Tasio?!), Claudia, Luz, Andres, Begona, and Damian (if he can manage to behave around everyone). Not sure about Pelayo.

DRAMA! I like it so much! Especially when combined with unresolved and still existing traumas. Fina panics, and panic is not rational. I like that they are bringing it back, even if it explodes in unexpected and painful ways. But then... that's what makes it credible.

No saying that’s what I want to see (tho it would be interesting/emotional to watch). But seriously how much more can Martha take until she totally crumble ?

She is being pulled from every sides : wife, husband, family, company… and she literally have no friends to talk to !

Exploring past trauma yes please !! So much happened since Isidro death, they need to get all of this out !!

Things I don’t get tired of:

Marta and Fina, aka Mafin.

Saying that Mafin is my favorite lesbian couple (because I had never fell this hard for any couple).

Saying that the actresses have a chemistry that is simply surreal and unmatched.

Saying that Marta (both Martas, lol) is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen (that doesn’t mean I don’t like Alba, or don’t find her beautiful, or I don’t respect her; I’m just a faithful woman.)

This is serious, very serious.

I confess I started watching this story because of a reel on IG. At first, I didn’t pay much attention and I even thought “oh, another Spanish lesbian couple…” But then I paid attention to one of the actresses (guess who 🙄) and I got instantly and absolutely mesmerized. There was no way back.

Then I started to watch the Mafin only story on DailyMotion, but later I got curious about how both characters, Marta and Fina, interacted with other characters outside the Mafin plot (because sometimes the Mafin only story videos skip scenes of them doing stuff unrelated to their plot, which is ok, but won’t let you see the whole picture or won’t let you know both characters in their entirety.)

So, then I got also curious about the other plots, like why Jesus was so evil, for example. And that’s how I ended up watching the whole show until today. I hope they get me hooked for a long time, even with the ups and downs of the story.

And yeah, a thousand years will pass and I won’t have forgotten these two. ❤️🧡🤍🩷
