「𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤 𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤!」- Vash nodded along as they walked slowly, his hands shoved into his pockets.

"Yeah, plants and animals, but I'm a little better with th' plants than the animals..." It was still a wonder that they let him anywhere near the animals, all things considered. However, it was also nice that his workplace superiors didn't think that he was too much trouble that they ought to relegate him to the more simple tasks. Not that he'd complain about whatever work he got to do.

A soft sort of smile spread over his lips. "I dunno if we've got anythin' like 'cream sheep', but there are regular sheep and we can always use more help. There're plenty of farmers ta pick from if you want somebody who specializes more in plants than animals or somethin'."

Time had passed far quicker than he'd anticipated and they were growing much closer to Eterna Village.

"If you are better with plants then perhaps you can tell me a bit more about the ones that grow around here? A lot of them are rather different than the ones I'm used to." While some had the same names not all of them matched up fully right. None of the flowers were nearly as sweet as the ones from his home. "Of course not right now! I would enjoy meeting again in the future and having a nice chat."

"I'll have to see what regular sheep are like, hopefully they don't try to chew on me." Yes it would be best to take the time to get to know any animals in a farm, and if they might try to take a bite out of him. Animals didn't always know right from wrong after all, so he wouldn't blame them, but he rather not have any marks left in his dough.

He takes a moment to look around, noticing the already becoming familiar shapes of the Eterna Village. He must have not been very far, or the walk with a new friend was very enjoyable.

"Thank you again for guiding me back here, hopefully you don't catch me out too late next time we meet." Unless he had his staff back, then he would be perfectly fine out at night.

Well...it's hard to tell if someone will ask him something crazier than Badou, or more invasive, but it's possible!

"You could, if you had a bug nose or something. For nectar instead."

A lot less sweet and soft than his friend, though.

He can't help the laugher at the idea, that would change up his looks so much to be more like a bug than a cookie.

"If I had to have a bug nose for nectar I would hope to get a nice pair of bug wings as well." How interesting he would look if so, perhaps closer to a Faerie cookie? They had such delicate looking wings after all.

"Perhaps I should have asked if Faerie cookies ever drank nectar, perhaps next time I see them I will!" At least one of them was named after a flower, so perhaps they did at times.

It's...circling.

"Don't seem like a wolf in sheep clothing....not sure if you're a sheep entirely, though."

A little strange, but Badou's bemused by the animal's behavior.

"Don't think I've ever been to a petting zoo, actually."

"Baaaa!" He was not a wolf in sheep's clothing! He had seen what one had looked like before after all, and that was not the form that he was given. He was just a simple cream sheep, a young one even judging from his size.

He stops circling when can can decide that Badou is perfectly fine, sitting or well attempting to sit. A sheep doesn't really sit like a cookie does and he feels himself slip until he is laying on the ground.

"Baa..." Needless to say he was not at all used to using a sheep body.

A petting zoo? It would be a bit strange to pet him, seeing as he wasn't a true sheep. Did he mind it too much if he was pet however? No, he thinks it would be fine, a cream sheep's wool was some of the softest in earthbread after all.

⋆˙⟡ :- " Oh, of course! I do not mind the company. " Lilith beamed at the... the rounded individual who smelled distinctly of vanilla beans. And speaking of, when he introduced himself, it all seemed to make sense in a perfect sort of way.

" It is a pleasure to meet you, Pure Vanilla. My name is Lilith. " She raises her cup in greeting, sipping on her peppermint tea slowly. Indeed, the cafe was far busier than usual, though given that they had just released a brand new gingerbread loaf, she believed that many were flocking here just for a taste.

" Oh, what is it that you have ordered? " Lilith inquired, giving her full attention to Sir Vanilla. Although she had never met this person properly, she was still determined to make a good impression of herself. " With a new season around the corner, there are so many wonderful options to choose from. This cafe is among my favorites. "

"It is my please to meet you as well Lilith." He takes the seat across from her, setting his own tea down on the table. He knew by the steam it was still a bit too hot for him to drink. As for his staff he lets it lean against him and the seat, the light moving around in the middle dimming slightly as Pure Vanilla opens his own eyes.

"I got a vanilla spiced tea. They said it mixes in cinnamon and clove with the vanilla, so I wanted to try it." He returns the full attention, even if his view of the other is slightly more blurry without focusing on using his staff. "There was a few other vanilla based teas, perhaps I will try those ones that are special to this season next time, unless you have any recommendations?"

With his tea cooled down enough he takes a sip, happy about the nice taste. He would have used a bit more vanilla but the cinnamon and cloves add a nice and even warmer feeling to each sip.

"Is it alright if I sit with you?"

Pure Vanilla had wanted to stop by a place and have just a little bit of tea, though he wasn't expecting most seats to be taken. He must of come at a busy time, but hopefully this person would be kind enough to share a table with him? If not he would just drink his tea standing, that's good enough for him.

"Oh, I'm Pure Vanilla." He adds on his name as a greeting with a soft smile, that would be helpful to make himself not seem like such a stranger.

Pure Vanilla was rather curious, the person he was looking at did seem human-like but those soft wings to the side of their head might make them another species. He walked carefully closer to the person, his staff's light never fully letting them out of his sight.

"Hello... Sorry to bother you, but i haven't seen you around before." He only opens his eyes for a moment in greeting, letting them slip back shut. His staff flickers as he reconnects to it's own sight.

"My name is Pure Vanilla, and I couldn't help but be curious about your... halo you have. Do you hold it passively up with magic? or is it affected by something else?" This question seemed to be simple enough, and not too pushy. After all he didn't want to outright ask what species the other was unless he was asked the same thing.

Now this was interesting. Pure Vanilla's staff had caught sight of the strange child before he had even heard them following behind. At the very least it didn't seem like that slightly floating child could tell he had noticed him. He lets the other follow him for a while, just enjoying his walk with the strange follower.

"Tell me, do you always follow people so quietly?" He finally spoke up, still not turning to look at the other since he could see him just clearly enough with his staff.

Pure Vanilla finds himself around the Fanalean Fields, letting himself explore the land around it. The air here while not as sweet as his home would be was nice and clean, so he was rather enjoying taking time to come out and see what the area had to offer.

Even a few small birds had landed on his hat, resting as he walked though the area. He felt at peace as he drew closer to a rather large building. Blue Lions Academy? He might have read that name when he had been looking over job listings, but he didn't expect to find it out here. His staff looks around as he takes in the view of the place.

"Hello, is anyone here?" He calls out, after all it would be rather strange if an Academy didn't have any students but there was always a chance it was just a day off for them. Ah, well he's sure nobody would mind him looking over the place respectfully right?

This is probably weird, asking someone about their teeth and then having to explain it. Badou should be embarrassed, and maybe somewhere he is, but fascination takes over.

"Alright, at least there's that. No weird gumming your food or anything."

He takes a bite of his own fruit-- it's nice and crisp.

He gives a good natured laugh at the other, he was getting rather used to the strange questioning. He will be expecting more as more people get curious about him.

"There would be a lot more effort for me to get food if I had to eat like that, or I would have to take food in more in a drink form." While he liked his tea, to have to drink only liquids all his life would be a bit much.

Plus drinking too much for a cookie could cause its own problems with their dough, but most never got close enough for such an effect to happen.

「𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤 𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤!」- Vash carefully slowed his own pace to walk in relative step with the small pastry-person. It made for a bit of an awkward gait, but it was fine by him. Quietly, he had to wonder about whether or not Pure Vanilla had been attacked by animals at all.

He stuck his hands into his coat as he walked. This his head perked up just a bit.

Huh? Talk about himself?

"Oh... uh... Well, I work at the Fanalea farms and I'm pretty good with a gun, but other than that there's not a whole lot ta say." - Rather, there was quite a bit to say but none of it generally put him in a very good spot so he just wouldn't mention the near weekly chases through the city that he ended up involved with somehow. Or the feathers. Or anything really... "What about you?"

Luckily no animals had decided to attack him, if anything his soft smell would help calm down many of the smaller animals he let come closer. His calmer personality always helped with getting many animals to find him as a friend.

"Oh? You work with plants? or animals? I know farms can be a mix of both." He gives a happy hum at the idea of the other being a fellow plant enjoyer or at least also good with animals. Would the farm have anything like the cream sheep he enjoyed taking care of. Perhaps another type of sheep?

"Well, here I don't have much... I haven't figured out a job to try and do. I had thought something to do with flowers, as I had a rather large garden back home that I took care of." He misses that garden, it had already been a while since he had seen it before he got pulled into this world. "In my youth I also took care of cream Sheep, so perhaps I should try to work in the same farm you do, if they have any openings?"

Badou's not paying attention mixed with the terrain beneath his feet is actually enough to send him off his butt-- he lands with a loud exclamation, probably a curse, and when he squints, he sees--

"....A sheep? Is there a freaking petting zoo out here??"

The sheep stares at Badou, taking in the shape and color of the other's hair. Pure Vanilla is happy that this is at least someone he does know!

"Baaa!" He attempts to greet, but just another sheep noise leaves him. If he was able to talk even as an animal he does not understand how to. It doesn't matter, he walks around Badou to check and make sure that his friend is mostly unhurt from the fall.

His head did rather sting from the headbutt itself after all...

☼ — The smile that seemed ever-present faded. Giving way to curiosity. Funny... nobody else he had met so far took so kindly to his, well, diet. They all loved humans. But...

Would he eat the humans here? - He looked off to the side for a moment before his eyes wandered back down to the being at his side, his teeth back on display.

"...Unless you know that they worship the Sun in this place... Nope," he replied probably far too casually. And then he clarified - "Besides... it seem that unless they come from Sextam... there isn't any other way to consume their essence. Even the smallest part will work most of the time. I usually only get the trashy parts anyways."

Which was hardly a clarification. It did serve as a twofold answer though: Yes. He would eat the human here. And no, unless specific conditions were met then there was nothing else that could be done.

That was just the thing... Umum also loved humans. They fascinated him. They were such strange and miraculous creatures. - But then there was the way that they smelled and tasted: positively divine. He loved them that way too. He'd be sure to savor any one he got on his hands on as much as he could.

It wasn't fair for them to be so interesting and adorable and tasty all at once.

And that led him to laugh again and he crossed his arms, eyeing the odd sweet-person curiously. "You're taking this way better than most of the others I've met here."

But he did notice how the staff seemed to follow him warily. Maybe this little thing wasn't taking it as much in stride as it seemed.

He can't help the frown on his face as he learns more about the diet of this strange one. Having only one type of food choice seemed to be rather bad, what would happen if they ever ran out of it or couldn't get more of that one thing? As for essence... perhaps they didn't need to eat the whole person?

"What if you only took something that wouldn't harm them long term? I've done some studying on humans," For healing reasons, "And they can lose some of their blood without it being too harmful to them. Is there a chance you could live off that essence over your time here?"

The question might not be one that the other had thought about, if they normally got to devour all of whatever the 'trashy parts' where. He didn't feel like asking for more details on that one.

"Ah, Well I wouldn't say I'm taking it better but I have been getting a bit more used to being... looked at like I am food. So that may help me in trying to give you examples of how a human may feel." Without the threat of really being eaten by the other, if they really only ate humans after all.

The light in his staff flicked away from looking at the other for a second, before returning. He was getting a bit more nervous about this one, but nothing that talking it out wouldn't help. Right?

Someone made of Golden Cheese...? And she apparently isn't offended if her friend eats cheese in front of her...he doesn't understand the dynamic, but hey, that's alright. Just be sensitive to it, and try to get it.

"So you eat with teeth, right? You chew?" He squints vaguely in the vicinity of his friends' mouth.

"Well, yes? It would be strange to not chew food with teeth." While his teeth weren't as sharp as some other cookies could be, he did have them.

In fact, he spotted a stall with a few fruits on sale. He turns away from Badou to buy just two of the more apple shaped fruits before handing one to his friend and taking a small bite out of his.

"See?" He shows the clear teeth marks around the bite on the apple-like fruit as he chews on the bite he took. Its not too sweet of a fruit, but it is rather nice.

「𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤 𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤!」- Vash considered the offer for a moment... It was tempting, but...

"Naw! You don't have'ta do that! I'm happy ta help. Besides, I don't live too far away from Eterna Village." - A bit of a lie. He lived in Seaside Province. But he really didn't mind helping the guy get home. It wasn't exactly too sketchy to be out alone at night around the isles, but still wasn't necessarily safe. ...It also felt a little weird to eat sweets in front of, well, a sentient sweet. "Just lemme know if ya need me to slow down at all or anythin'!"

"If you say so..." Pure Vanilla lets the offer slide for now, perhaps he will try to offer the other again when he is back home. They had considered it, so there was just the chance they weren't hungry yet.

"I will let you know." He would only let them know if he went rather fast with the walking, after all Vash was much taller than he was. It would mean his legs were long as well. Ah, He would just make sure to walk a bit faster to keep up.

"Why don't you tell me about yourself as we walk? I feel I'm rather new to this city so I haven't meet too many others."

☼ — Unum listened with perhaps too rapt attention, nodding along and hanging on each word even if he didn't understand what things like "cream animals" and "cake monsters" meant. They eyes on his face squinted in concentration, but the multitudes ringing his head were wide with fascination.

He at least had some social decorum and quietly thought to himself that Nulla would probably also be fascinated given his penchant for sweet things. - Even if Unum couldn't understand it. The only "sweet" thing he was interested in was humans.

His hands were clasped politely in front of himself as he walked with measured, slow steps to keep almost perfect pace with the other being. The eyes at the sides of his head were locked on the Cookie as he expressed discomfort around the desert type of cookie.

And it seemed to connect in the Symbol's head.

One being that was sentient and used to being on top of the food chain, another of the same kind reduced to fuel for another species with no way to fight back - like animals. Like the humans that he and the others ate.

Unum could understand that. He laughed as well, though it was far from awkward - in fact it might have even been delighted. A smile spread over his lips, revealing sharp teeth - a mouth filled with teeth meant for tearing and ripping.

"Oh! So that's probably how the humans Nulla brings in feel! I hadn't thought of that before! Becoming food is probably difficult for them too by the way they try to fight back!" - He was talking excitedly now, happy to have made a connection. How casually he admitted to eating humans. Then again... it was just the natural way of things in the Garden.

Not that the humans or placebo bodies got much chance to fight back. When so many Symbols were gathered in one place, it distorted everything about the space around them, including physical sensation, effectively paralyzing the mortals into being incapable of fleeing.

At the very least Pure Vanilla was no stranger to many extra eyes, after all he knew someone who had even more eyes on him than this one. If anything he was rather comfortable about being able to see the emotions shown in both his normal eyes and the others around his sides.

Even the sharp teeth didn't send any alarms though him, and the loud laugh only made him pause in his steps to look at the other with a tilt of his head, even if his eyes stayed closed the whole time.

"Oh..." He was meeting with a new species, one that would normally eat humans? He frowns slightly at that. "You don't plan on eating any of the humans here do you? They have been rather pleasant to meet and speak to."

None of the humans he has met so far had also so bluntly talked about eating him. He wouldn't blame them for thinking it, if they were all so used to eating the desert type of cookie.

"Besides, there is a chance these humans here are not like the ones you eat back home. They could even make you sick." He frowns more, grabbing his staff with both hands out of an anxious feeling.

"Is there anything else you can eat? You should stick to something you know will be safe when you are in a new area." He turns slightly away to keep up his walking but the light in his staff keeps a close eye on Unum.

"Baaa!!" A loud sheep's bleat is heard before a rather small cream sheep comes though the undergrowth and runs right into someone's leg. A hard headbutt right to it, that might be enough to knock them down. Pure Vanilla of course doesn't mean to, he couldn't see anyone there after all.
