It’s World Mental Health Day today and I think mental health is a very important issue.Â
This is mainly covering anxiety and depression. I’ve seen and learnt a lot about mental health the last few years and I think the hardest part, after suffering your lowest times, is consistently helping yourself. And there are so many ways you can choose to help yourself, from private to group counselling, anti-depressants, self reflection, diet and exercise, finding focus in activities you enjoy and that grow your self esteem and learning to be open about your mental health to those you trust. You have the power to choose how you feel and how you think and I think it’s so, so important to be aware and to be kind to yourself.
