Barb someone asked about if vampire lords pick their heirs or if their heirs have to be vampires they made and you said they don't necessarily have to be made by the lord they took over from... my question is, did the previous Medici turn Marcel or did he just target him?
Marcel's backstory is a little confusing. I've written a scene where he explains everything, but that's going to have to appear later in the story.

Tracy is a master of disguise and will wear all sorts of clothes, wigs, and makeup looks. Her most iconic look (imo) is her black bandage dress with pink bob wig, though I like a lot of her looks.
Nathan Lee wears blend into the crowd clothes. Think grey hoodie and jeans.
Marcel has two main styles. His in court style, and his true style. While at court he'll wear black suits. Very classic vampire lord. When he's out on his own his fashion can only be described as twee. The old timey college professor style. Elbow patches and leather shoes. Cute as shit.
Iliya wears basic white shirts and dark pants. He still buckles his belt around his waist instead of his hips and wears hats at jaunty angles. He was born in 1910. You won't change him.
Freya wears simple, timeless pieces. Comfortable, practical, but still presentable enough that she can attend most funerals without having to change out of her regular clothes.
Erin May wears very punk-ish styles. Boots, safety pins, cameo, fishnets, etc.
Romancing Sergi in Blood Moon and ending up in the river with him, then jumping into the river with Illya...What is it with Big Burly Men and water
In all fairness, Sergi did not want to go into the river. 😅

The worst part about reading Thicker Than is not being able to ever pick between my majestic and composed Medici or my rough and excitable Iliya
The results of the werewolf costume contest are in. Marco takes first place, Sergi second, and Izzie third. The three of them will have some time to think up 2nd round costumes that they can use to go up against the vampires.
Meanwhile, the vampires need to find their three finalists (and yes, not everyone here is a vampire, but they're batting for team vamp today).

Erin is Che Guevara. No body gets it. She thinks she looks awesome.
Tracy is Tinkerbell. Duh. As always, her make up is perfect...ly sinister.
Iliya is a cowboy... but it's one of those cheap <$10 costumes. It don't fit.
Marcel is the Cowardly Lion. Grr.
Gaius has forced Lucius to couple-costume with him as the KFC guy and a chicken.
Lee is the sheet ghost. He doesn't know how he got here and is hiding.
Freya is dressed as a Hocus Pocus witch (the main one, obviously).
Chris is rockin' a homemade Superman outfit. Red undies on the outside.
I just can't imagine marcel as the cowardly lion 💀😂

Who will win? Who will lose? Top three finalists will go head to head against the top three vampires for an ultimate werewolves vs vampires showdown.

Shawnie is zombie Queen Elizabeth. Is the meme old? Yes. But she's Irish, so...
Roe is a cowboy. Those spurs sound real? That whip certainly is.
Marco is Ken from the Barbie movie. He's practised the dance number.
JiAn, Nik, and Alek are three peas in a pod, which is cute until they to fight.
Ed is wearing a handmade Cthulhu costume. He taught himself to knit for this.
Carrie is a vampire. She has cheap plastic fangs and a Dracula cape.
Farro is Poseidon. He has painted a pitchfork and is wearing a mermaid skirt.
Vicky is in another onesie. This one is a Pokemon. She doesn't know which.
Sergi is Buzz Lightyear having a mental breakdown... with his arm ripped off.
Izzie is dressed as MC.
P.S Thanks for the ideas. If you want to send in ideas for the vampires, now is the time.
