I’m a hollanov!parents aholic! My Hollanovlings family: Baby Luka, Ayla and Mila Hollander-Rozanov. In the current timeline, they have just adopted Baby Luka. Luka/Лука is their first child.

Luka’s First Birthday!!

We would like to thank everyone who was by our side during these whirlwind days; thank you for all the help, the tips, and the affection shown to our little family. A special thank you to Luka’s grandparents, Yuna and David. Without their example, we would never be certain we were doing the right thing; we would always be afraid. But how could we be afraid when we know our home is surrounded by the sweetest love and the most delightful laughter?

Thank you to the Pike family for being our strength and our guardians. For always being so much more than just a helping hand; you are like a comforting hug on the couch on a Saturday night and the shoves into the pool on Sundays. You are our favorite people in the world!

And a special thanks to the girls, Jade and Ruby, who took on the challenge of organizing Luka's party. You guys nailed it! I'm sure all the kids in the neighborhood, at the daycare, and the players' children will be talking about this for weeks!! (🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

Shane’s morning exercise routine remains very organized, even after the arrival of Baby Luka. And Baby Luka, his exact replica loves the morning routine; he loves waking up early with the sun alongside Shane. The problem? Now 11 months old, Baby Luke really wants to join his dad Shane on walks around the neighborhood, but he can't walk yet! Come on, Baby Luka! You can do it!

One morning, Ilya and Shane woke up and realized they couldn't postpone baby Luka's haircut any longer. My god, his head looked bigger than his body with his big, spiky black hair.

Ilya was willing to look for a children's hair salon to make this first moment special, but Shane said he could do it! That he always cut his own hair when he was too busy during the games season.

But of course! It's all the scissors' fault! They were too old, and that's why Luka's hair ended up with such a peculiar cut!

Ilya's mission now is: to hide the diagonal bangs! And he can't stop laughing at how adorable Luka looks in every combination!

(And Ilya also doesn't understand why Shane is refusing to talk to him 🤣)

Ottawa’ Pride Parade and PRIDE NIGHT with Ottawa Centaurs ❤️🖤

We realize tha none of this would be possible without years and years of struggle and courage. At first, the idea of ​​returning to Tampa for another game brought bittersweet memories to Ilya. But now? Ilya wakes up with Shane’s hand resting in his curls, even while still in a deep sleep, and baby Luka, already awake, lies quietly between his two dads, patiently waiting for one of them to wake up and cover his cheeks with kisses.

It’s something I really wasn’t expecting when I created this account!

Being on that other evil side (X/Twitter 😭) especially when it revolves around the Heated Rivalry fandom, a fandom that has lost focus on what has been my "I'm still at the restaurant" moment: the Hollanovs!! 😭😭😭

I open my tl and oh my god, it's exhausting.

But thinking about Shane, about Ilya, and their future, or just rewatching the tv show, rereading the books, reading fanfic that offers other perspectives on the situations they experienced in canon lines: that’s something I’ve wanted to talk about more and more and more.

And that’s how the idea for this account came about: because I think they deserve it.

They deserve a family to love and be loved by, and a place of their own to come home to every day, after so, so long.

Unfortunately, I know that moment is still a long way off in the books, but the whole "Hollanov family/children" concept isn't something pulled out of thin air. it’s canon. It’s a vision of theirs straight from the pages, a dream written down that feels unreal given their actual reality; a distant dream to experience that life together.

I got carried away again, but what I want to say is: thank you so much!! For this message!! For liking my account!! For thinking of it and writing such a beautiful, meaningful post!! I loved discovering this word and how a culture can have the perfect definition for a reality we experience with our father figures: silent, yet always giants of immense love in every action!

Shane and Ilya are like mountains here too: big as one, but perhaps noisier, like an erupting volcano!! I don't think they could stop talking for even a single second!!

Ilya had been trying for hours to get little Luka to sleep. He kept shifting the baby’s position, stroking his hair and singing lullabies, all while the air filled with squeals and giggles, as the baby tried to climb all over Ilya instead of drifting off. Shane watched from the doorway, amused; he knew it was only a matter of time.

And then, it happened. The challenge was set: if he could get Luka to sleep in five minutes... the prize would be... well, later, when they went to the bedroom... and it was time to sleep... and... well, it wasn't exactly a fair trade, as you can imagine! Still, with a prize like that, Ilya would come out a winner either way!

But Ilya knew the victory belonged to Shane! It always did! Because, when it came to baby Luka, Dad Shane’s arms were the best place in the world! Sleep tight, my little bear!

According to Ilya, they’re starting their first family tradition: after a win, they have to celebrate by eating pasta! Spaghetti, carbonara, fettuccine, any kind!

Shane, obviously, doesn't agree at all… not if they’re determined to lead the Ottawa Centaurs to a Stanley Cup victory this season! My God!!! How much pasta would that be????

A new season of our summer camp starts in two weeks!! I can't wait to be surrounded by new faces and to have our walls filled with laughter and plenty of fun; I hope that together we create new memories and learn a lot from one another!
