What are you talking about? How does Naruto being Sasuke's closest bond at the time mean that he never cherished Sakura? Just because someone has a best friend, that doesn't mean they don't also cherish all of their other friends. And to make matters worse, you're speaking in the present tense, as if Sasuke cherishes his Naruto but not his own wife. Furthermore, killing Naruto also wasn't a big deviation from his goal, because Naruto stood directly in the way of his goal.

Sasuke has explicitly demonstrated on multiple occasions, that Sakura is very much on his closest bond list.
