Happy to finally have some images to share from a project earlier in the year – Art in CNCBI I was invited to have a selection of the Blue & White Zodiac prints installed at the reception area in one of the bank’s prime offices, in Kowloon

'China CITIC Bank International Limited (the “Bank” or “CNCBI”) and We-search collaborate on “Art in CNCBI” with an aim of laying an interactive platform for artists and the public by bringing art into the Bank’s network while opening up space for local artists. “Art in CNCBI” continues to evolve since its 2012 inception. A total of 100 artworks by local artists are currently being exhibited at about 20 points of the CNCBI network in Hong Kong.’

Happy to share that PLAYING CARDS: Blue & White Porcelain - Chinese Zodiac Edition (Legends Porcelain) has become a recipient of the Applied Arts Award 2018 for Conceptual Illustration. Blue & White Porcelain to be featured in Spring 2018 issue of Applied Arts. Thank you @AppliedArtsMag! . . The ‘Blue & White Porcelain’ deck features hand painted and digitally refined illustrations inspired by traditional Chinese blue and white ceramics. Thematically, the design references the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. The abstract patterns also draw inspiration from modern Scandinavian design. The deck is a fusion of east and west, much like the city from which the deck was born – Hong Kong. . . . .
