He carried a nuke in a one way trip to space

He gave the Avengers a home

He built and updated their tech

He provided funds for rebuilding after each of their battles

He puts out their PR fires

When SHIELD is gone, it’s Tony who takes over everything

Even in the middle of the Accords, Tony was trying every second to ensure nobody would land in jail, he will accept consequences and give compromises if it meant his team gets to stay together and stay out of prison

He’s been shielding them from the world all along

Even at the end of Civil War, when still broken and bruised and hurt, Tony still acts as their shield and let’s Steve rescue the rest of the team locked up

Tony Stark is the Avengers’ shield, the sad reality is I don’t think anyone will ever notice.

If you know anything about me you know that my girl gene is a bit.....defective. Apply makeup? I look like a cross between Alice Cooper and a raccoon. Hair? Forget it, it’s too fine to do anything. Clothes? I’m happiest in jeans and T-shirt. But my nails? I love my nails! But with my job I’m so hard on them, whenever I paint them they chip within minutes. Yes, minutes. I tried Jamberry less than a month ago and have been in love. They have held up to packing boxes, wrapping china, cleaning china and numerous tape fights.
