Omar Mateen barricaded himself inside the nightclub in the early morning hours of 12 June, 2016. Once inside, he senselessly murdered 50 people and injured another 50+. Not long after these texts were sent by Eddie, Mateen stormed into the bathroom where he was hiding and shot him dead.
