I shouldn't nitpick because it's kids show, but...
They could stick with their previous colour scheme...

I still think about how different the plot would be if Star got sent to earth and met Luz instead of Marco. So much potential
I have a headcanon that in Mewni due to the fact that Most animals actually seem sapient and intelligent it was actually an unthinkable act to "tame" Them. Sure monsters probably did make bonds though they did have giants but not the way mewmans eventually subjugated and tamed beasts of burden for their nation. Just shower thoughts
Something I've been tinkering with a little is the concept of Magic Supremacist.
Since magic seems to be something you have to be born with it made me think of Harry Potter and supers from the boys.
Might be an interesting plot point
Alright time to share concepts again.
Starting with a power system for the world of svtfoe.
One thing I've always never believed in is that the realm of magic is THE source of all magic. My personal view on it is that it's more of a hotspot of magic. Like a well or a lake in a city. Good resource but hardly the source of everything.
Now for the power system I describe it simply as "Magic is Everywhere but it has to come from somewhere"
The way the system works is that you're either born with magic or not.
If you don't have magic that's where the system comes into play. Basically to be a mage you simply have to get magic from a source. Similar to how the butterfly family draws power from the wand people simply have to do something similar in which they either have a powerful magical relic or perhaps draw their power from a powerful magic being.
For example while not explored gods are a thing in Mewni. Heck hekapoo herself is considered a goddess yet strangely enough it's not acknowledged much. And we see she's able to grant the ability to travel dimensions through scissors.
Same logic applies to the system.
Anyways hope this yapping made sense to y'all
Man I have not posted anything in a while! It's a new year I need to finally write something and lucky for those of you who cares I have an au planned
Fuck genAI here’s a google drive of TOH with all episodes from all three seasons
Man it's been so long since I posted any svtfoe content
I'm so torn between making Rhombulus a sympathetic character who can be redeemed or an asshole who's just entertainingly evil like adam from hazbin hotel. So many choices
Kids in Japan grow up hearing about yokai in folklore. Often recounted to encourage children to behave or teach moral values, yokai are supernatural beings that embody the mysterious and eerie elements of nature and human emotion.
While these creatures can be benevolent, mischievous or downright terrifying, they have an alluring nature that is incredibly fertile for storytelling.
Thought of a headcanon lately that Lekmet is a politician in Mewni. He's basically the direct line between the MHC and their influence on that world. Plus he is a high chancellor.
Of course he makes sure the mewmans stay in line and doesn't do stuff that goes against MHC policy.
I used to think he's the moral anchor but nowadays I think he was definitely corrupt like the others
I don't know why but for a series that has a heavy importance on magic it seems like for me they don't really expand much on it for World building. Like I don't know why but it feels hesitant actually having much more mages and show how magic is used in every day life. The decision to even have most mewmans as magicless just bothers me.
I can't explain why
Hot take. They should have kept Batwin around in the present time instead of forgetting he exists.
Like sure the common headcanon I've seen was he's either dead or out of power but I propose an alternative headcanon.
Batwin is still alive and he did sign a treaty but this version is to make him and his forces fully subservient to the Crown.
Imagine a monster army instead of fighting for fellow monsters are instead a conscript force that is used as fodder by the Mewmans.
I do headcanon based on lore that the avarius while they're still a noble family have lost influence and so Batwin is the official representative of monsters.
I'm just rambling but it would be interesting due to river getting the knights drunk that they call Batwin and force his army to fight Toffee. Toffee is of course pissed seeing monsters forced to fight for Mewmans.
Plus imagine a moment where Star when calling out the hypocrisy of how monsters can't be trusted yet they have a conscripted monster army regularly fighting for them
That's just my thoughts everyone hehe.
Mewni's concept of Knights is very interesting because from what we see they actually seem more like federal employees of the crown since they have specific jobs that isn't just about being a soldier like Labavo and even that one knight just cleaning up garbage.
So much potential so little exploration
I know it's cliche but one of my ideas regarding the old mewni culture of monsters had something to do with elementals
Personal Opinion.
I'm not a fan of how Marco is just able to beat grown ass monsters in hand to hand combat. With star it makes sense but Marco? Karate can only take him so far.
If I had to rewrite it I would have kept the monster arm(with an altered plot of course) and then have him be able to beat monsters.
Just my two cents
I have a vision...
What if...
Bill Cipher got reincarnated as Marco Diaz...
We all know Bill would cause so much chaos and probably expose a lot of secrets the MHC have
