Bothers the fuck outta me that several popular furry content creators have yet to unfollow Skye Cabbit (who owns the fursuit company Thunderhowl Studios). I wouldn’t usually post something like this but.

She was outed for grooming and raping a 15 year old when she was 22. She’s trying to downplay everything.

And yet several popular furry creators — BetaEtaDelota and Majira Strawberry are two of them — are still following her. This information has been out for almost a week and they’re still following her.

I am of the opinion “following ≠ endorsing”* HOWEVER when you have over 200k subscribers on YouTube and over 100k on Twitter (Majira) or even just over 175k subscribers on YouTube and just under 8.5k followers on Twitter (Beta) and you don’t do commentary videos you should NOT BE FOLLOWING OUTED PEDOPHILES. They’re exposing their following which INCLUDES MINORS to a fucking criminal. And it’s fucking disgusting.

This information has been out for almost a week. These popular furries are quite active on Twitter. They should’ve heard about this by now, ESPECIALLY considering another popular furry creator THAT THEY ARE ALSO FOLLOWING has commented on the situation and quote retweeted the victim’s document.

It is honestly so fucking gross to me. I am 99.9999999% sure they’ve seen the allegations. And they haven’t given any indication that they care, or even that they’ve seen the fucking document on all this.

Anyway yeah if these popular furries don’t unfollow Skye Cabbit soon they’re getting a block from me because I am not okay with Twitch streamers who don’t mention/talk about big situations like this following a fucking pedophile.

*If I know someone does commentary videos, I am fine with them following someone as a means of sourcing information on that person to make people aware of it. That’s fine. That’s how you get information on someone. HOWEVER that is the ONLY circumstance I think merits following horrible people. Otherwise don’t follow them. It’s gross especially when your main demographic is teenagers.

they said they dont support "Things not backed by science" and then talked at length abt being a transmed and not supporting neopronouns, they also said they dont support the "Radical fat acceptance/self love movement" which is horrifying to hear from someone claiming to go to medical school to become a doctor. Just in general pretty disgusting and use the fact they r trans to hide behind getting criticism [they said "as a trans person I hate neopronouns" which is hilarious bc it also gives away they r very white since a lot of neopronouns were created bc languages like Spanish dont have singular They/Them pronouns, and before someone tries to correct me yes technically the boy pronouns CAN be gender neutral but yea no-]

He also says he doesn’t like neopronouns and xenogenders because they’re often used by autistic people and he doesn’t like that fact, something he said directly to me. (I am also diagnosed with autism, something I explicitly mentioned)

Also correction on his race — he has said he’s Cherokee and this is the basis of him saying it’s not cultural appropriation to use feathers in character designs. Because apparently the opinions of other Native Americans and autistic people don’t matter.
