Rainy day indoors Today we were able to get one of our new kids, who calls herself Peril, to play and color a little bit. She's got a rough lot of it, so we're happy she's settling in and getting a little more comfortable. :3 Nami just chimed in and said she'd do anything for her haha We're probably going to post more stuff about acclimating and soothing new syskids to this blog and the other one- resources- as we write them; because we've been doing a *lot* of that lately and I think we've learned some stuff. Writing and putting yourself out there is hard, but there's definitely a need for more resources in the community.

We've tentatively decided to start using this blog again. going to have to do some organization and introductions, and be very careful not to reblog political posts from the main blog to the syskid blog again haha. I've seen posts saying things along the lines of 'your blog is for you, its your platform, don't apologize, don't edit yourself' but whenever we think of being authentic on here we get honestly...legitimately afraid

In any case, that is why we have been minimally active, both on here and on the nursery/syskid blog. We will try to be more present and active, we do want to make more text posts and share more of ourselves. It's just harder than it has any right to be- Ei
