good morning kim namjoon just went into the summit for leaders of 21 pacific rim economies and did a speech where he mentioned bts a minute and twenty seconds in, said that army, the fans, are the reason for the international success of kpop, literally said that "cultural diversity and creativity are the biggest human potential", likened kpop to bibimbap, and said "when investing into the future, think about culture as well as economics" after pleading for economic support for artists and creators while wearing a kpop demon hunters pin :)

good evening i've been thinking about this the whole day and the fact is. we all know army is predominantly female. like we all know that kpop fans in general are disproportionately female and we know its true for bts fans too. and he really went out there and said [paraphrased from what i rmbr] "its the fans that broke international barriers, army that used our music to start conversations, used bts' music and messages to run charity and social campaigns and finally the world was amazed [by kpop and the culture that comes with it] and they keep breaking those barriers through power of pure solidarity." he stood in front of the richest ceos of richest companies of the pacific rim region and said "actually the girls broke through the cultural barriers, now please give money to creative artists and don't only think of economy, think of culture". LIKE COME ON. I LOVE HIM WHAT THE FUCK.
