URGENT ATTENTION!! PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE! Before you start to hate me for uploading this, i must inform you that we are doing NGO work. It works on donations and efforts from your end, hence it is my duty to show you where your money is being spent. We are trying to make sure we are reaching those who aren't being helped by many. Today's day was successful. We have helped around 70 families in this village called akunni, very interior in dankuni. Many not even know it exists. This place was overwhelmed by us reaching there. I quote one person said- "you're the first to come here to actually do something. Usually the parties only visit us when its time to vote" The condition of these people was too bad. They were cooking rice provided by ration shop and leaves from trees, without salt, just boiled and eating it to survive. (check photo). Can you imagine yourself eating that? Apparantly i had a false lead, as you see in the video for singur, due to which i traveled almost 12-15 villages between singur and bardhaman. To kmow the truth. The govt is indeed helping. But while they were allocated 5kg of free rice. Only 2kg is being provided. Plus they are allowed to work on farm which is why they were able to survive. Still scams are on. So beware of that. Try to help them. They need you too. However then i came across through a friend of mine about this village where even that was not being provided. And it really needed our help. This is not it. There are many more villages nearby facing the same issue. And tomorrow we plan on serving 40 more families with supplies to ease their survival for the next 14-15 days.
