Earlier this year I had entered into a contest to paint something in our community it was ocean creature themed. I decided to draw an octopus and I did it in Copic Marker it got picked out of all of my classmates and I got to go paint it on the side of a building I'm quite proud of this one

HC <3s the LA RIVER

Here at Happier Camper, we live for the Great Outdoors. Mother Nature is our best friend and never taking her for granted is a big part of our mission. So when opportunity knocks to partner up with our neighbors and look after our own backyard… say no more. We’re there!

What a time we had getting together with Friends of the LA River this past week for their annual Great LA River Clean Up. We were able to provide a couple of our own HC1s to source out cool water, refreshments and some much needed shade between the more-than-impressive grind of so many kind souls that came out that day. We’re so thankful for the friends we made, and we can’t wait to return this coming Saturday, April 29th for round two @ The Willow Estuary portion of the River in Long Beach. Except this time we’re coming in a larger pack and it’s our turn to get our hands dirty!

That’s right. We’re ready to pick up ALL the trash, folks. And we’d like to take this moment (if we haven’t already) to cordially invite you to join us (it’s not too late!). What’s the saying? The most meaningful work isn’t always the most glamorous….? Sounds about right.
