I had this ridiculous idea for story: Mark suddenly grows a huge kangaroo pouch on his stomach, and Jez likes it so much that he just moves in and starts living there. It might be a bit too weird, though. Also, I feel like Kafka would be rolling in his grave.

Like Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, Mark wakes up one morning to find that he has turned into a hamster. He can still speak English, so he tries to carry on with his job as usual while desperately hiding it from his company.

He ends up creating meeting documents by hopping across the keyboard, hosting online meetings with his camera turned off, and pushing himself until he is completely exhausted—only to fall asleep in Jez’s palm.
