one of my guilty pleasures is imagining dick being this toxic, possessive ex to jason who, after the general fuckery of his life, is trying to heal and going into a trial relationship with artemis. dick would be a very insufferable stalker and disruption courtesy of the absolute boost in paranoia caused by his stint in being batman for a while. im talking cher lloyd's "want u back" mv level disruption.
but the twist is, jason actually isnt dating artemis at all bc artemis is the one who sees dick being so possessive but unwilling to make a move, and jason being unable to see it, so artemis keeps yanking him into eating in restaurants with her and going into gotham date spots with the excuse of 'they have discounts for couples! act straight!' to force their blue and black bird stalker into realizing he wants his little wing romantically.
Jason feeling watched whenever Artemis come close but unable to understand why. Dick knowing every single place they are gonna be at. Let him always be like « oh funny seeing you there. » while throwing dagger to Jason’s said so girlfriend. Jason is blind to Dick’s love and Dick is blind to Jason’s love. They two idiot, except one is the stalker. (Dick finally putting all the skills Bruce taught him to use. He never Said it was for the right thing.)
Artemis is laughing on the side and wondering when did those two will finally get together. (When they finally get together she is teasing them until the end.)
(Also the « act straight » from Artemis got me wheezing. xD)
