Hello, we are a CDD system who was formally known as the House of Cards and has no clue what they are doing. Welcome to the blog, it's chaotic.

I am going to get this out of the way before we get too far, we do not support (pro + neu) Endos, Willows, tupla, polyminds. Block us if you are one, we will not indulge you if you try to fight us in this.

PSA; Please, don't call us alters, we would like to be called parts or shards. We need tone to be clarified, whether that be with tone tags or just clarifying it through your message as we often SUCK at detecting and clarifying tone. For most of us, punctuation does not equal tone, but just to be sure, we do use tone tags a lot. If you don't like tone tags, tell us. We are semi-dyslexic so sometimes spelling sucks and we are heavy ADHD, which makes the spelling mistakes ten times worse.

This blog will be run by the entire system, however, do not expect sign offs as most don't have them other than their names, some parts might do it, but don't expect it. Some of us however, do have side blogs that we love to shit post on, which is another big reason we don't do sign offs on this one. Most of them are barely active though since we mainly just use this account, but we have them. I, however, won't be listing them, so you can have fun finding them.

Asks are open, however harassment will not be tolerated and will be reported/deleted.

I hope you guys like the revamp of the theme because we really do. Anyways, that's all for no, if we need to add anything else we will just edit this.

I fucking hate going through doubt episodes. I hate being worried I'm faking. I hate admitting to myself that I am possibly wrong. Realistically, I know it's not that deep to be wrong, it's not the end of the world, I tried something and it turned out to not be right, but I fucking hate it. I hate it so much. Like, maybe I'm not system. And thats not a big deal, at all, but it is a big deal to me. i hate being wrong.

I hate delayed amnesia so much. I’ll go through a whole day thinking I’m “fine” and fully present, and then hours later it hits me like—wait… I don’t remember anything from today. It feels like my whole day just slips through my fingers.

I’d like to think I’m staying relatively co-conscious with our other alters/fragments, but then once they leave, I lose nearly—if not all—of the memory afterward. It’s so disorienting.

its sooo funny when pro endos go "well its so easy to accept endos! its so easy to just believe these experiences wholeheartedly and uncritically!" as if that is a reasonable, rational, good argument.

i dont do anything because its easy. i dont believe in anything because its easy. if "easy" were enough for me, id be a far worse person than i am now. "easy" thoughts tend to lead to dangerous little paths, especially when unlearning a lifetime of abuse and trauma, yeah?

i hate that nonbinary people can't be, like, nonbinary.

whatever we do, we can't win. we can't be seen as actually nonbinary. people binarize us and often mock us or get aggressive or dismiss and ignore our nonbinaryhood or something else.

if we don't medically transition, we are "just cis trenders."

if we do medically transition, we are "just [binary trans] eggs."

we are "technically transmasc or transfem anyways" if we don't use these terms.

we are lumped together with binary trans men and trans women if we do use these terms. our nonbinaryhood is ignored or seen as some kind of "gender-lite."

we are aggressively pressured to disclose if we're AFAB or AMAB, TMA or TME, transmasc or transfem, "boy nonbinary" or "girl nonbinary." and if we refuse to answer, people get double mad at us and pick something for us anyways.

if we show the slightest hint of something that could be interpreted as binary gendered, we are immediately binarised.

if we put a lot of effort into looking the most ambiguous or androgynous or neutral, people still try to find something. and they become aggressive. people often EXPLODE [PT: explode] when they can't gender someone by glance.

our ways of expression are constantly mocked and ignored (like neopronouns, nonbinary-centering labels for gender and orientation, basically all things that are associated with nonbinary people).

but if we choose more typical ways of expression (for example, use "he/him" or "she/her" pronouns), people use it to ignore and dismiss our nonbinaryhood.

we just can't win, and it's upsetting.

fun fact: debates about if being transgender is a choice or not are irrelevant, because the fundamental truth is of bodily autonomy - a right that should never be seen as conditional or requiring a suitable, immutable condition.

people who are trans deserve the right to transition, not because it’s a medical treatment or because dysphoria can be classified as a mental illness but because we’re human beings who should be allowed to do whatever the fuck we want to our own bodies! this is a basic human right!

i dislike the weird jump to blame suicide victims for their suicides and call them selfish. suicide is very frequently in some way a social murder. i think instead of blaming someone who was in such a dark place that they saw no other way out we should maybe be blaming the people who threw gas on the fire, such as those with a lot of power to make that person's life that bad or those who abused them into it. is that really that unreasonable

Just wanted to say, its never okay to misgender someone. Ever. That shit is just weird. Its not cool when someone does it to you, so it definitely isn't okay when you do it someone else. Just stop with the whole, "They don't deserve respect, I'm going to misgender them!" it's weird and gross.

Not really system related, but I keep seeing this and needed to bring it up.

Hey...if you have to explain being a system to your new splits using metaphors rather than scientific language you are not faking, malingering or lying. I do not think you should be prioritising scientific correctness over keeping you and your system safe (in all ways)

If the safest way to explain having a CDD for you is to say "we share a body but we're all different people" then go ahead.

If the safest way for you to explain to fictives why they formed is to say "we were watching your source and the brain decided you would help so it transported you here" then go ahead.

Your priority should be your health and wellbeing. Not some strange system specific political correctness to appease some unseen force that will smite you if you dont say the right thing.

I mean wtf is it with people (both singlets and other systems) approaching having a CDD with a mindset that clearly shows you do not think someone with this mental illness us allowed bodily autonomy on how theyre treated by others.

Why am I not allowed to choose the language used to describe my life? Why am I not allowed to prioritise harm reduction over academia?

You can deal with explaining the actual science at a later date, ffs you can save scientific readings and say "please read this when youre calm and in a comfortable headspace"

People are really just saying "remember youre all one body" and then somehow ignoring that its been documented that alters being in distress even when not fronting can cause issues to the body/main fronter?

My dude if the new split is having a panic attack because they dont know where they are and theyre suddenly surrounded by people who seem to know exactly whats happening i am going to prioritise making sure that new split can calm down and regulate. I am NOT going to prioritise making them read the fucking DSM am I?

TLDR; Too many people treat pw/CDDs like they dont deserve bodily autonomy because they have alters.
