“I’m doubtful of that, I was self taught so ‘good’ isn’t something I’d use to describe my drawings” she said staring out at the rainy landscape “exactly - even the smallest of things can make an impact on this world, and we could really use some change in this world”

“–Not at all. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. I take that you do feel drawn by the natures too?”

“Yeah, I spend more time in nature or around it more of then I am to be inside. I’ll be out in the woods rather than watch tv” she shrugged “and by too, I take it you love nature as well?”

“Well... I mean there are dozens of supernatural species just living in this town so I’d believe that there could be alien life out there somewhere, but no I do not believe I’ve ever been abducted and I have not met anyone who believes so”

Lyra offered her another smile, as she glanced around the room and admiring the shelves filled with fresh flowers around them.

“–I can only guess.. But, It feels calming too, being surrounded by the beauty of the nature. So, maybe you’re right about that..”

“well, as cool as ‘modern day hippie’ sounds, i don’t think anything can beat glass,” he chuckled. “seriously, that’s such a cool name.” quickly clearing his throat, he awkwardly rubbed a hand over the back of his neck, “i’m sure you probably get that a lot though. and i uh, kinda keep to myself around town most of the time. but it’s nice to meet you too.”

She chuckled softly “I don’t actually, most people think its weird, so I appreciate the complement. Though I definitely think Asher is cooler than Glass” she gave him a smile “well you seem pretty nice so it’s a shame that you don’t spend more time around others”

She rested her head against the side of the gazebo “Uh… since I was about… 9 or 10 I think, long enough for me to use it as a constant hobby.” She said before laughing softly “not really what I meant but okay… who taught you how to paint? Is that a better question?”

“I’m sure you’ve gotten good over the years. Isn’t there a saying about doing something every day, and it getting easier every day?” Offering a small smile he looks off into the distance nodding. “It’s a rather boring story.” Glancing back at her he continues. “I took classes. After which I spent years practicing.”

She shook her head “I wouldn’t say I’m good. It’s gotten easier yes but I wouldn’t say I’m good” she said hugging her knees “no story is boring. Any story no matter how small can be an inspiration to someone”

She offered him a warm smile “it’s nice to meet you” she said before sitting down on the floor, relaxing as she listened to the rain hit the roof “yep, it’s weird I know, but most nicknames are” she shrugs “creative parents? No not really. But I took up drawing and art because it was an outlet for me… so what about you?” She gestured to the canvas “a painter by blood or by hobby?”

Sliding down the wall he shuts his eyes. “That. Is very true, regardless. It’s nice to meet you as well.” Nodding as she speaks he lets out a sigh. “You started it as an outlet?” Opening his eyes he looks at her. “How long have you been doing art?” Drumming his fingers on his leg he looks to the painting. Humming Yeong shrugs his shoulders. “A little of both. If you think about it. You started art, which means it’s in your blood. They say that your art is a part of you. But it’s also a hobby. That’s how I’ve always seen it at least.” He knew that it didn’t necessarily qualify as an answer.

Glass had went out to the park to sketch, her day off was supposed to be lovely and sunshiny. She took a few Polaroids before beginning to sketch her surroundings: the little kids on a play ground, couples strolling along the paths, or a small water fountain spraying water in the air. She was in the middle of sketching out a few doves flying away when droplets of water dripped on her paper as it began to rain, she tucked her sketchbook against her chest running to the gazebo as the downpour began. She looked over at the other person giving them a small smile “You and me both,” she said sitting down her sketch book “judging by the sky I think we’re going to be here awhile can so I might as well introduce myself. I’m Glass, Glass Montressor” she offered him her hand to shake

Shaking her hand he motions back to himself. “Park. Yeong-Rae Park.” Peaking out slightly at the sky he nods. It was strange to him, how suddenly a storm could start. “You might be right about that.” Leaning against the gazebo he lets a small sigh out. Knitting his brows slightly he looks at the girl. “So… Glass was it?” Offering a smile he crosses his arms shaking his head slightly. He wasn’t sure how long they’d be stuck here, so it was probably best to attempt at holding a converstation. “You have some very creative parents. I guess that’s why you’re here sketching.” Motioning to the book briefly he crosses his arms again. “So what, does creativity run in your veins? Or is it just something you decided to pick up?”

It wasn’t supposed to rain. That was what Yeong-Rae  was looking forward to. It was why he’d been in the prk in the first place. Paint staining the tips of his fingers as he worked on the painting. The colors had been blending together perfectly, the perfect splash of light colors. It allowed the painting to pop. That was before he  registered the water hitting his face.He barely had time to respond before the water had begun to pelt him. So he did what he thought was the most logical response. Used the canvas as a cover as he ran to the gazebo. Only setting the canvas down when he reached the gazebo. With a sigh he looks up meeting the eyes of another person. Awkwardly scratching the side of his face he begins to speak. “Remind me to never trust the forecasts.”

“Of course,” Glass gave her a smile before stepping into the back coming back a few minutes later with a beautifully organized vase of Easter lilies with a few added daffodils and decorative ferns all tied together with a ribbon around the neck of the vase “how does this look?”

“–Oh, that looks pretty.”

Lyra mused with a smile, as she reached out to give the tip of the daffodil a gentle caress.

“–You truly are talented with this stuffs.”
