the last poem I ever write.
If there was ever a notion i’ve done no wrong
I was wrong, i’ve been wrong and i’ve done wrong.
Whatever happened to stop light french kissing?
Whatever happened to body movement and sweating?
I’m as relevant as those pictures we took inside your car.
We laid out on the sand at midnight on the coast.
We talked about life and what it would be like if I lived close
Where were you when I needed you most?
Probably making out with guys you’ll never know with your bestfriend.
(I kept calling and she kept telling me you were busy)
I remember early morning taco bell and hotel room sex
I can only remember that because you told me you lov(ed) me then.
Airport subway and meeting your brother at his work.
I threw the ice cream out your car door window.
There was only two of you. You both did me wrong.
Cheated on me with a guy with the same first name.
I now despise anyone with that name.
Whatever happened to Forever & Eternity?
Do you still have my Osiris shirt?
When I met your father, I knew he hated me.
My aspirations and goals weren’t of the norm.
You hated me for that, you wanted me to be accepted.
I had plenty of reasons to wanna die and plenty more to stay alive.
I blame you both for who I am today.
When will I give up and move on?
When does this feeling end..
Probably never and I thank you for that.
The last poem I ever write.
