“Alright, I’m a big enough person to admit when I need help, and I need help.  I’ve got a minor interview at the museum on next week, it’s just for a magazine that gets distributed in museums all over the state, but they just told me that they want to do a photo shoot and they went me to wear something ‘fashion forward.’ I have three suits I alternate for work and otherwise I live in my black hoodies, because that’s what I’m comfortable in.  Would you possibly be willing to come shopping with me and help me find something I can actually wear for this stupid thing?”

“not to make this conversation about me again but i went over seas recently and someone pointed out that my accent makes me hotter. i’m thinking while in america, i can use my brit accent, sort of like that one chick from the bachelor, you think i’d be hotter?”

She chuckled softly “Honestly? I think you’d be hot no matter what you do!”

“So, I bounce my little self into Victoria’s Secret today, right? And this lady’s standing there, like any ol’ saleswoman does. I walk up and asked to get my bra size measured, since I haven’t shopped there in a while, and she looks right at my chest with this completely judgmental look and goes, “Shouldn’t you be shopping somewhere a little more…your age?” Like, I get it, I look young, but still!

“Wow I don’t even have any words for that. That’s quite rude for lack of a better word. What did you say?”

Being back in Crownsville was something Leland never imagined she would be dealing with, but there was no denying the allure of the small town once she’d settled back into a somewhat familiar routine, trying to distract her busy mind with a doting job as well as make all of her appointments on time, something that was proving to be more difficult than anticipated. After all, she only had to show up, right? 

Today’s session had gone seemingly well. As well as it could have, at least. But, Leland always felt drained when she left, taking what the therapist had offered, only to shove it in to the back of her mind and drown the stories she’d shared with a drink, or six. Settling onto one of the stools at the local bar, she was doing just that, sipping at a tall mai tai through a straw, humming along to whatever poppy song was playing overhead. Easily making her way to a second glass, she let out a soft sigh, before deciding to pester the person next to her. After all, they seemed familiar, anyways - another subtle reminder that she was back home. Everyone seemed to know everyone. “I know you, don’t I?” She started out, stirring her straw around in her glass as she awaited an answer, already prepared to blame the alcohol for her lack of memory.

Shayna was in the bar sipping her drink, trying to get noticed,given she had moved to this small town to get out of the spotlight for a bit. Needless to say she was startled when a lady next to her became talking, she nearly choked at her question and quickly shook her head “n...no I don’t t,.think so”. She stammered.

Got a new cat (Open)

Kit smiled as she sat on the couch, playing with her cat Goose with the string. Goose leapt around with a soft meow, her orange fur moving slightly with each pounce.

"Oh my gosh you're too cute for words!" Kit giggled as she looked over at her friend who came over to see her new cat.

"Isn't she so cute?" Kit asked her friend with a beam.

“ Okay well I am going to go go now and leave you, but you call me if you need anything!”

She nodded “I will thank you”. She said leaning over and giving him a hug.

Rasha frowned as someone stepped into her light.  She had been sketching - alone and in silence - when someone, a shadow, disturbed her.  Without looking up, Rasha slid over and kept shading the piece.  “You are in my light.”  She said softly.  “Yes, I am drawing, and yes this is charcoal.”  Her therapist told her to be assertive so she was trying.  Finally, slowly, she looked up and stared at the person in front of her.  “May I help you?”

Shayna turned to the voice as it began to speak “I am so sorry”. She replied a bit taken aback as she stepped out of the way “I didn’t realize you were sketching here”. She told her

He laughed  “ You sure?” He questions  “ You aren’t just trying to trick me are you?”

She chuckled lightly “may I inquire as to how?”

“ You should know how, you’d  be the one doing the damage!”

“Mmm you would think but I don’t think I have that in me”. She replied with a chuckle

“I’m glad”. She murmured in between kisses. As he backed her up against the wall, she giggled slightly “I think that would be a great idea”

Niklaus pulled away from the kiss after a moment, taking her hand in his own instead. “Come on, let’s get there quick. Guide me—” he smirked faintly, taking the lead even though he didn’t know where the bedroom was. He was just impatient.

She chuckled softly at how quickly he wanted to do this and allowed him to drag her along, she pulled him to the side and into her bedroom laughing as she pushed him down on her bed

“ Yes you can be scary even if you are smaller than I am!”

She chuckled lightly “may I inquire as to how?”

She couldn’t help it, she burst out laughing as he said that. She leaned forward a bit as she eyed him “is that so?” She wasn’t blind, she knew he was taking her in as well.

“It is.” Tj smirked faintly, setting his coffee cup down and then leaning in closer to the woman as well. “My names Tj, by the way…” he introduced.

Shayna hesitated only briefly before shrugging “sure I mean I guess that would be fine”

“You are not allergic to anything, right?” Honey rose her brow, smiling. “Just makin’ sure.”
