[English News] S.H.E Performs at 30th Golden Melody Awards

On June 29, 2019, S.H.E reunites once again to perform for the Golden Melody Awards. The Golden Melody Awards is Taiwan's equivalent of Grammys. This performance was highly anticipated by fans since it has been confirmed earlier this June. Fans wanted to hear S.H.E sing together on stage. The occasion marks two main important moments. Selina's first performance in a long time due to voice/throat issues and S.H.E first performance together since the 17th anniversary concert. Suffering from voice/throat issues, Selina has been advised since S.H.E's 17th anniversary to refrain from singing to rest her voice. This night was the first time she sang live with her bandmates. It was clear that during the performance Selina struggled a bit near the beginning of the performance but with the help of Hebe and Ella, the group performed well. They performed 我們 (Us) which is a combination of the hit 美麗新世界 (Beautiful new world) and their 17th anniversary's single 十七 (17). Later the group reappeared to present two awards.

S.H.E not disbanding, will celebrate 17th anniversary with free concert

Don't worry, S.H.E's not disbanding - in fact, the trio will be reuniting to celebrate their 17th anniversary next month.

Fans were concerned whether the Taiwanese girl group will part ways following Ella Chen's departure from their record label HIM International Music last month.

Hebe Tian was quick to reassure fans, saying at a recent promotional event: "We have a strong bond and nobody can tear us apart."

S.H.E announced on Aug 3 that they will be inviting fans to a free open-air concert in Taipei on Sept 11.

At the National Theater and Concert Hall, they will be treated to an intimate performance where Selina, Hebe, and Ella will serenade them with unplugged versions of their classic hits and more.

The Mandopop group was formed after a singing competition in 2001, with members branching out to develop successful careers in singing, acting, and hosting.
