Focusing more on their response to her actions rather than bothering to look in-depth, even for a second, at her state of mind, motivations, feelings? Being locked out of her POV? Removing Dany’s voice from her own narrative? Watching 90 minutes of two men debating if she should be killed, then angsting over killing her? More men being mad at those men for killing her? Stop obsessing over Greek mythology and the Greek classical age for a second and focus on the very recent bloody history of the actual Greek people.

It’s the 100th remembrance day of the Greek (Pontiac) genocide by the Turks. Turkey still denies this huge crime ever happened. Be an ally and reblog the post. More foreigners should learn about this.

GoT SPOILER ALERT!

Whelp, GoT ended with a nihilistic whimper. Every single primary character ended up alone and loveless. The nihilism even went so far as to have Jon Snow leading a large group of wildlings, mostly children, away from the fertile lands of the north and into the desolate deadly barrens of beyond the wall. Did you notice that at the end, all of the wildlings were walking individually and alone except for one pair of little girls? That was deliberate. I’ve been an extra on movie sets and the tendency is for the extras to bunch up together. So the end message I got was one of despair. House Stark prevailed; but, for what? The ending would suggest it was all for nothing. This finale left me wishing I had never watched Season 8.
