Of teacups and thrones; [/closed]
One could not have expected a day so fair in midst of a season promising a chill and creeping frost on the morn. A vivid blue sky overlooked the day with a radiant sun wisps of alabaster cloud streaking through; it was a sight for sore eyes, truly refreshing. Arturia had taken this chance to enjoy some of the more pleasant aspects of the city; to be exact, a quiet European tea shop with a large variety of cakes to choose. White wrought iron tables were placed outside the quaint building, some in the shade, the others caught in the strength of the winter sun.
The knight had taken her spot in a rather perfect spot; the sun warmed her and fought off the coldness the shade bore. After a long, harsh winter, this seemed like quite luxury. Within a few moments, a polite waiter tended to her order and set off to tackle this woman's order. It took a fair amount of time, but worth all the wait.
A china teapot filled with earl grey, two cakes, three danishes, an écalair, a slice of strawberry roulade, one gourmet sandwich filled with prime beef and vegetables, and a little slice of cheese cake; all of this crowded itself onto a wooden platter, tastefully at that; she could only admire the staff's ability to organise a display such as this.
Those passing by would assume she was only waiting for a group of friends to arrive and assist in the consumption all this, but no, this glutton intended to eat all of this by herself.
That was until her eyes had set upon a rather peculiar sight emerging from the crowd.
A woman, but none like no other no, that was wrong, completely wrong; for this woman possessed a countenance and physique similar to her own, down to every exact detail. The radiant hair, skin of ivory, and irises cut from emeralds. Should this be her doppelgänger, would ill fate surely follow in her path? Would calling the other's attention be a move unwise to make? Jade hues widened in surprise as the other approached the increasingly busy café. Arturia well the one getting ready to stuff her face could only stare in a sense of disbelief, the piece of cake dropping from the fork in her hand back to the cake with a soft 'plunk'. Her expression a blank canvas, devoid of any other emotion other than a somewhat lost expression of astonishment.
Now the question was, would the other notice her?
