Caricature drawings at a birthday party.
Saying goodbye to 2013 and hello 2014! Here's to a very good year!
I will be drawing caricatures this Saturday in Brooklyn! Feel free to stop, get a drawing, and some other great stuff too at the craft fair.
Found some more caricatures from my elementary school visit earlier this year.

The South Slope Holiday Craft Fair at PS 10 this past Saturday brought out a nice crowd of shoppers looking for unique, handmade gifts from dozens of artists. We did some shopping ourselves, met many neighbors, and took a bunch of photos. If you snapped any pics that you’d like to share, send them to us at [email protected] and we’ll add them here!
We noticed that this gal with glasses at Celine’s Dolls looks a bit like our editor, Christine.
The Kimchi Taco Truck was stationed outside, and well worth the brief wait in the cold.
Illustrator Sheena Hisiro drew very cool – and incredibly quick - caricatures.
And Rocky the dog waited patiently outside for his owner.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the South Slope Holiday Craft Fair and helped make it a success!
Last caricature of the day after drawing for seven hours straight!
Drawing my first doll caricature with Celine's Dolls. Couldn't ask for a better model. Whimsical, stylishly dressed, very colorful, and she sat perfectly still the entire time.
Drawing at the South Slope Holiday Craft Fair. First caricature of the day! The unicorn horn is handmade from Brooklyn Owl.

Ready to Shop? South Slope Craft Fair Saturday at P.S. 10

The South Slope Holiday Craft Fair is Saturday, December 15, at P.S. 10 (511 Seventh Avenue), and with over 50 artists, many who are from the Brooklyn area, selling their wares, it’s shaping up to be an amazing event for the whole family.
What can you expect? Craft workshops, face painting, and live music performances from New York Guitar Academy and Brooklyn Music Studio will help to distract ankle biters. Sheena Hisiro will be on hand to churn out her stellar charactures & portraits. The hilariously brilliant creations of What the Folk Art and I’m So Brooklyn share the stage with such artisan jewelers as Kim Last Designs and Nemesis Jewelry. Add in some tasty baked good and a stocked raffle, and there’s no telling what you’ll walk out with at the end of your visit.
Best of all, you’re helping support the programs of our very own P.S. 10, so grab your holiday list and head over to the fair this Saturday from 11am-5pm, for crafts, food, friends and fun. You won’t be disappointed.
