i don't think i'll ever forget when the boys' PE teacher so casually prompted me to join the other lads. there were no bells and whistles or some big grand gesture making a massive deal. he tret me like he would any other young lad. school was rough for me (like with most queer kids), so moments like these really shine. cheers, sir 🫡
day47. they are yellow for a special occasion 💛
I happened to come across your iceberg post on r/bannedbooks, and what got to me the most about the comments was the amount of people who assumed you were some kind of predator for mentioning the csa guides (and other arguments along those lines). It's really interesting that people seem to just assume that not wanting a book to be banned means you support it? As though the only reason they don't want 1984 to be removed from a school is that they think it has a good message, not because they're principally opposed to bans and censorship.
It's unfortunate that most of the people who care about archiving problematic things actually support the content of those things. Before finding your blog the most comprehensive suppressed book "list" I found was this (explanation here) which was done by someone who supports...about 80% of the books? Like, it was made by an anti-semitic white supremacist who doesn't think highly of women, and who mostly promoted the books as "the secret truth they don't want you to read." Which...not really the vibe I was looking for (to put it mildly).
One of the reasons I think your blog is so cool is because you actually commit to anti-censorship activism, while many just use it to protect their beliefs. Kind of sad that both free speech beliefs and good ol' morbid curiosity (my motivation) aren't commonly thought of as reasons to promote banned things.
Yeah, this Ask isn't exaggerating btw 😓 (see below-the-cut for screenshots of some choice comments from that thread 👇)
I know I probably come off as unaffected by negative criticism, but it turns out that having dozens of people openly call me a child sexual predator strangely gets under my skin just a smidge ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm actually only now starting to dip my toes back into Reddit because I got such an overwhelmingly negative reaction. Specifically on... I think it was r/bannedbooks, r/archivists, and r/extremehorror.
Some other subreddits were a bit more receptive. But I was honestly really bummed out that those ones hated my stuff, because they seemed like the exact communities that would be interested, right?
Having said all that, I'm also incredibly naive and staggeringly stupid sometimes. It unironically never occurs to me that people might assume I'm a pervert for defending a fictional short story entitled "Buttfucking a 10-Year-Old Girl" (which was declared criminally obscene by the US government in 2021, with the author sentenced to 40 years in prison, no I am not making that up).
And really I need to stop being surprised by those reactions because, like you said, most normal humans apparently only defend controversial works if they actually support the subject matter (very stupid).
Now, without further ado...

Do people GENUINELY fucking think that liking loli/shota content will inevitably lead to committing ACTUAL SEXUAL ASSAULT on a REAL CHILD?
I saw someone say something like this on Twitter, which granted, Twitter is full of dumbasses, but so many people were agreeing with them.
I am a victim of Childhood SA. To suggest that because i like fictional depictions of cute little anime boys, because i like PIXELS ON MY SCREEN, because i like LINES ON A PIECE OF PAPER, that means i will one day inflict life changing traumatic experiences upon a REAL CHILD, IS DISGUSTING AND REPULSIVE.
I have never and WILL NEVER feel attraction towards a child more than maybe a year younger than me, since i myself am still a minor. The fact that some people want to compare my own REAL, traumatic, and to this day life altering experiences to those of fictional pixels and lines' is beyond disgusting.
Im sorry if this is worded wrong. I'm just so pissed. What is wrong with some people.
I’ve been drawing alot of cowboy noelles recently…

Have of those tiktok accounts where antis larp as proshippers as “ragebait” HAVE to just be antis in denial because genuinely what other reason would you have to make an entirely separate account dedicated to proship if you’re not secretly a proshipper yourself
