Joel 2:25
âIn this world, there are things you can only do alone, and things you can only do with somebody else. Itâs important to combine the two in just the right amount.â
â Haruki Murakami
âUntil you heal the wounds of your past, you are going to bleed. You can bandage the bleeding with food, with alcohol, with drugs, with work, with cigarettes, with sex; But eventually, it will all ooze through and stain your life. You must find the strength to open the wounds, Stick your hands inside, pull out the core of the pain that is holding you in your past, the memories and make peace with them.â

âForgetting the past and straining toward what is ahead, I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above.â Philippians 3v13â14 (NCV)
There comes a moment in every believerâs life when God says, âStop building monuments to what I have already brought you through.â Your past may explain you, but it doesnât define where God is taking you. Every failure, every disappointment, every betrayal, every missed opportunity, and every painful season belongs behind you because God has already spoken a greater word over your future.
Notice that Paul doesnât say he occasionally forgets whatâs behind him. He says thereâs one thing he does. Itâs intentional, disciplined and relentless. He refuses to allow yesterday to rob tomorrow. He refuses to let regret become his residence. Instead, he stretches toward what God has prepared. Faith always reaches, presses and believes thereâs more because the God who called you is still moving you forward.
The enemy wants you staring into the rearview mirror while God is opening doors in front of you. Shame says, âRemember who you were.â Grace says, âRemember whose you are.â Fear says, âStay where itâs familiar.â The Holy Spirit says, âCome higher.â You canât embrace the new thing God is doing while clinging to the old things He has already delivered you from.
The prize isnât found in living off yesterdayâs victories. The prize belongs to those who keep pressing when the journey is difficult, who keep believing when the answer seems delayed, and who keep walking when the road feels lonely. God never called you to become a curator of your past; He called you to become a witness of His faithfulness in your future.
Today, make up your mind to release whatâs already released you. Lay down the weight of old mistakes and old labels. Refuse to replay conversations that God has already redeemed. Lift your eyes toward Jesus because the One who called you is also the One who is strengthening you for the road ahead. Keep pressing, praying and trusting. Godâs not done with you.

START TODAY. START RIGHT NOW. NO MORE EXCUSES. YOU'RE READY.
The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.
-Alan Watts
God says: Iâm breaking the cycle that tried to hold you captive.
I hope July and the second half of this year are gentler on your spirit, kinder to you, good for your growth, and even better than the first half.
July will be filled with joy.
July will be filled with love.
July will be filled with trust.
July will be filled with peace.
July will be filled with clarity.
July will be filled with miracles.
July will be filled with blessings.
