I was so sad to hear this. Weird facts: my (now semi-retired) dentist and my Rheumatology fellowship director both went to high school with Bob Saget and my dentist actually performed comedy with him before pursuing dentistry full-time. I’m sure their both devastated over this. I almost felt like I knew Bob from the way they talked about him.

I'm not sure it "matters"....but it is kinda weird. Especially since she whined her way on to S30 tour as the S29 winner because she "didn't get her swan song". You'd think she'd be dancing with the man who got her there......

My DWTS thoughts
Now that all the dances are done here are my thoughts before the winner is announced!
Cody/Cheryl: BOOOOO. I didn't watch them. No apologies.
Amanda/Alan: Fusion: I think I missed a lot of the Paso or Alan didn't put much of it in the dance. Freestyle: Pure joy. Except when I saw the pros screw up the lift in the background. But, really, just pure joy in that dance especially the part where she leads the pros in the middle of the dance.
JoJo/Jenna: Fusion: Really good! Definitely saw so much of both styles. Freestyle: LOVED the pros dancing with the same sex pro. Very technically great and showed so much emotion. But, felt a little underwhelmed I don't know why.
Iman/Daniella: Fusion: Pleasantly surprised by this dance. I was worried about the dance in hold but worry not needed. But, that was definitely not worth 4 perfect scores. Freestyle: Holy sh*t. That was amazing. No words
Honestly, you didn’t miss anything by not watching Cody. His freestyle was a literal hot mess. Worst one I think I’ve ever seen.

I am THRILLED for Iman and Daniella! That was, honestly, so well deserved! While Jenna’s choreography was amazing throughout this season, Iman just grew so much. I would have been thrilled with either one winning, and I’m just glad it wasn’t Cody.
Oh, and Amanda should have still finished before Cody.

For experienced dancers Cody and Amanda have done zilch for me. Both manage to look awkward to me when executing the steps
I will say......Amanda's contemporary last night was beautiful. It was like she was an entire different dancer.
I thought her first dance so so-so last night. I never thought going into this that she'd be better at contemporary than a dance in hold. But, the Tango did nothing for me last night.
Agree about Amanda’s dances last night. The tango was blah, but that contemporary was so moving! For me, though, I am loving JoJo and Iman.

DWTS Season 30 Queen Night
Opener is AMAZEBALLS!!! Who doesn’t love to jam out to Bohemian Rhapsody? And who wouldn’t tell Tyra they can’t talk to jam out?
I’m actually ok with her Freddie suit.
Alan and Amanda- I hate that she has this song. It’s so fun! Ooooh! This is really good. Like really really good. I think that was her best dance. It was slightly high step marching band, but I thought it was great. Len does not agree….lol. Derek doesn’t either. Bruno liked it. If he doesn’t get off that table 😂. CAI will count off for the lift. Lol.
8,8,8,9 = 33 points…..I’m pretty surprised actually
Val and Olivia- Val said “a lot of steps and very quick” 😂. Oooh, they’re fighting. Val’s suit is everything I never knew I needed. That was pretty good. A slow quickstep due to the best, so she got off easy. She performs so well. I’m impressed with her, tbh.

Dani and Iman - I really like him! I’m impressed by how serious he’s taking this. His mom giving him pro tips is all of us judging DWTS 😂. This choreo is pretty elementary but it is sharp and clean. That’s all you can really ask. It doesn’t need frills….it needs polish. I know Bruno isn’t telling him to be taller 😂.

Emma and Jimmie - ok, THIS suit is the suit of my dreams! This is lovely! He’s gliding very well. Very good V Waltz. Damn, his wife is here straight out of the damn birthing room!

Wit and Miz - Lol……Papa Miz looks like my neighbor. I can’t with his serious dance face 😂. He’s another one that had totally embraced this experience and is super serious when I didn’t think he would be. He did amazing tonight, weird head and face aside.

Jen and JoJo - I don’t like this song, but this is so in sync and so clean! Very good performance. Not my fave, but that’s not their fault. That’s the songs fault. Oh wow!!! CAI says she reminds her of Zendaya. That’s a huge compliment!

Sasha and Suni - Sasha and Emma both had on their Horror makeup in their package 😂. What was y’all doin?!?! I love that her coach is telling her it’s time to peak….because it is. Could have done without the 16 counts of flags in the beginning. Sasha looks more like Sgt Pepper than Freddie Mercury 😂. That was really good. I think Suni just ran off to hurl….bless. Poor sweetheart. She pulled it off well for being ill.
