Let's draw?
#dtiysChiro
Yes, I'm an adult version of Chiro in a kid costume.
I basically have a lot of questions about Ciro's past. We know that he is afraid of losing his strength and becoming a. Shaving water, clowns, he can lock his friends if they are protected by danger because of him.
I might think it's all because he's a kid. But damn.....
He needed to master the power of the primate for his protection. To start getting out of your comfort zone. Did you do that at 14 too? X)
What do you think about that?
I feel like everyone’s probably realized this by now, but I’m fairly sure that Chiro is the Chosen One to fight against evil because he’s incorruptible.
To be incorruptible in this show is a big statement because corruption is the greatest weapon of evil in this show. Skeleton King and the Dark Ones aren’t scary just because they’ll destroy you. They’ll twist you into something hideous and dark, make you destroy yourself and everything around you, and then leave you behind to rot.
It would take me ages to list all the evil deeds in this show that were committed by someone influenced by dark forces. It’s the majority of the show’s villains.
And the main heroes aren’t exempt either. We not only have Gibson in Thingy and Sprx in Soul of Evil, but all of the monkeys have been brainwashed or corrupted more than once. Think the brainwashing in A Man Called Krinkle. Think Shadow Over Shuggazoom. Not even Antauri is safe.
But then we have Chiro. All things considered, Chiro is relatively good at not being corrupted. He outlasts the curse in Shadow Over Shuggazoom and doesn’t let himself turn into a monster in Monster Battle Club Now. The only time he falls is when he gets turned into a wraith in Ghosts of Shuggazoom, but it doesn’t last very long because he’s able to break through it with just some encouragement from Jinmay and his strength of spirit. Chiro has willpower in spades.
Also, a lot of his plotlines are just about him becoming aware of the nature of this kind of evil, how it lurks everywhere and can infect everyone. There’s the Sun Riders. Mobiuz Quint. The damage that the Worm left in it’s wake. The Skeletal Circle. Chiro gets his eyes opened to all this evil and corruption in the universe, and in the face of such a terrifying thing, learns to strongly resist it.
This is what I think sets him up as a counterpart to Skeleton King. Or more specifically, the Alchemist. He was clearly a well-meaning person, but I got the impression that he sort of bounced from one pursuit to the next without realizing the consequences until it was too late. He helped build a giant death robot, then fled and took it with him - leaving his two partners to continue their project of building deadly robots. We know how that turned out. And then he opened a portal to a dimension of pure evil in his laboratory and made light of the risk until he was literally being imbued with the pure essence of evil himself.
He always sort of side-stepped the evil of the universe, never looked it in the eye until it consumed him. He created all these powerful things, but never built his own resistance to the Dark Side.
But Chiro did.
That’s why it’s so important when Chiro declares he’ll never go to Skeleton King’s side. And why SK says no, he’s going to remove Chiro instead. He knows that his power will not work on Chiro, the Chosen One, he who is imperfect but stands strong against the forces of evil that seek to take him over.
SK’s only option is to snuff out the light.

"And that's how the story goes The story of the beast with those four dirty paws"

They used this song for the first episode and I can't help but scream.
IKR? I was watching it on the phone on my bed and I had to get up and walk for a while, the happiness it filled me with was just that overwhelming.
The Snake ranked sixth. 🎋
[ ID. A digital painting of Scaramouche from Genshin Impact. He is laying softly in grass surrounded by trees and fog, a sliver of light from an unseen source illuminating him. His eyes are closed and his eyebrows are furrowed, irritated at the sunlight. He is watched over by a golden snake with knowing eyes. End ID. ]
Im sick and tired of questions like "whats ur favorite color" and "do u like running" and "was ur sister murdered as a result of a military conspiracy" and "do u like digging". Also I'm sticking to the SA2 characters so if ur looking to get sally the acorn, die mad.
