In this episode, Jackie delves into her true passion: spending countless hours digging for any scrap of information on the production of Monkey Team. She pulls up some interesting information on The Answer Studio, the animation studio that produced the show; and Kazuyoshi Takeuchi and Fumio Maezono, two key staff members.

This is long overdue, and the sound quality is kind of all over the place, but I ended up having a lot of fun with this episode and am ultimately happy with how it turned out! I hope you guys enjoy it! You can find my main sources and some videos I mentioned in the episode linked here!

After being believed long dead by the Hyperforce, Gibson inexplicably appears twenty-seven years in the future, after the war has been lost, and after the planet has frozen over into an arctic wasteland. What remains of the Hyperforce and the city’s survivors live on the fringes, struggling to survive while Valeena apparently has free reign to do what she wants, slowly sucking the life out of Shuggazoom City.

Gibson resolves to finish a battle he should’ve been there for, although it might be too late for a planet in desperate straits. Hovering over his efforts is the mystery of how he travelled so far into the future, and how it will effect Shuggazoom’s future.
