I’ve heard about Modern Toilet a long time ago, and I’ve wanted to try it ever since for the experience.Â
I’m not the type who gets disgusted with these kinds of designs while I’m eating so I don’t really mind their concept. HAHA They have a policy where one customer should have at least one order. Their restaurant is definitely a very instagrammable place.Â
They actually have big servings so don’t order that much if you’re in a group. I suggest that you order something for sharing. They have set meals as well that include soup, main dish, and chocolate ice cream. I ordered the Phillycheese steak.Â
In order to get the best date and time for your group, it’s best to plan ahead of time and book in advance. You can easily book at their website (http://www.masungigeoreserve.com/). There's a minimum of 7 pax for the hike so make sure to invite your friends! It'll be a good experience for you guys for sure!
This hike is for beginners so don't worry! They've made a trail for you not to get lost. Just follow it and you're good to go. They also have rangers to help you out during the hike. If you're afraid of heights, this is not the activity for you since there are obstacles that you need to pass and you'll get to see how high you are. I was actually a bit afraid that the nets we were stepping on might snap anytime LOL (it’s very safe and durable though!). We were lucky that the weather was good. It rained for a bit, but it was not that heavy. We were advised that it was going to rain so we brought raincoats to be sure.Â
You have to cross this bridge. Some are made out of thick ropes, while some looks like white plastic crates.  From this perspective, it’s actually kind of scary :O Make sure to stay alert and watch your step to avoid accidents!
During this course, I was thinking of the worst thing that could happen LOL better to be safe than sorry! I was scared that my feet would get inside the holes of the rope and get stuck HUHU :| :))Â
There are duyans that you can sit on half way through the hike so that you can get some restÂ
What to bring during the hike:
- Hat
- Sunblock
- Water
- Extra clothesÂ
- Small towelÂ
- Jacket (the thin ones, if you don’t want to get dark HAHA)
- Sunglasses
- Small BackpackÂ
Don’t bring things that are heavy because you have to carry it throughout the hike.
View from Silayan (restaurant in Masungi)
We finished hiking around 2pm. After the hike, we were given juice, water and sandwiches for our snacks (we were super hungry at this point since it’s way past lunch time HAHA). They also have a newly opened restaurant that we tried out called Silayan. They serve Filipino dishes with a twist. I am not a fan of sinigang that much but their version was different! It was not that sour and the soup was thick unlike the ordinary ones. I don’t have any pictures of the food because it was devoured in an instant HAHA. Overall, the hike was a good experience, and the place was well maintained. If you’re the type who loves nature, I would definitely recommend this to you.
I went to Japan last April. This time, it was at Osaka, Japan. A travel agency took care of our visa last time since we were on tour. However, this time around, I was the one who personally took care of it since it was a personal trip.
I applied for a visa through Reli Tours & Travel Agency for P950. Their office is located at Mall of Asia. I actually applied through their courier service since I am residing in the province. I just went to Manila when it was already ready for pick-up.Â
This post is about getting a tourist visa with no guarantor.
Requirements: (must be original)
1.) Philippine Passport- has at least 2 blank visa pages
2.) Application form
Fill up the application form here http://www.relitours.ph/application1.pdf
The app form should be printed in an A4 paper.
3.) Photo
Specs: 4.5cm x 4.5cm, with white background
Must be taken within the last 6 months
4.) Birth Certificate
You can get your birth certificate from your local civil registrar for 140php each copy. I waited for the whole afternoon just for this. The line was so long. I attached the receipt to the birth certificate to be sure as proof.Â
5.) Marriage Certificate (if you are married)
6.) Daily Schedule in Japan
Write here the places you will go each day, where you will be staying and their contact number
Here’s the format: http://www.relitours.ph/application5-e-.pdf
7.) Bank Certificate
This is to show that you have enough funds for your trip
8.) Income Tax Return
That’s all! If you have the complete requirements, it’ll just be easy. You can get your visa within a week. Good luck!Â
This is a must ride when you go to USJ! Your visit wouldn’t be complete without this! To be honest, I was hesitant at first because I saw how terrifying it was. You’ll be lying down facing the view as if you were really carried by a flying dinosaur. With this, you’ll be able to get a good look of Universal Studios Japan. I advice you to wear a ponytail because my hair was all over my face during the ride HAHAÂ
2. Backdrop
Unlike the usual track of a rollercoaster, this ride goes backwards. Not knowing the course throughout the ride was thrilling. The sudden drop, and turn will definitely make you scream.Â
3. Hollywood Dream
Everything with this ride is the same as Backdrop- track, chairs, etc. except that it is facing in the usual direction as a rollercoaster would. If you’re a fan of typical rollercoasters, this ride is for you.Â
4. Harry Potter and the Forbidden JourneyÂ
This ride is for all the Harry Potter fans out there! This one is kind of a chill 4D ride. It’s sad that it’s all in Japanese so we couldn’t understand anything. I hope they add English subtitles. Nonetheless, I would still recommend it.
5. Jurassic ParkÂ
This is included in my top 5 even if I didn’t get to ride it HAHAHA. You will definitely get wet by riding this so you need to bring extra clothes or a raincoat. Just by looking at it, it seemed really fun. I’ve already experienced riding a similar one at a different theme park.Â
Tip: Buy an express pass so you don’t have to fall in line for hours especially if it’s peak season. We bought the Backdrop 7 express pass package via klook. You can also buy USJ entrance tickets online to save time.Â
Sorry, I don’t have pictures of the Hollywood Dream, and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (you have to keep your things inside a locker before entering the ride).
The entrance fee is P40 (day), P45 (night), P20 (children below 4 ft.) per head. The driver gets a free entrance. There are cottages, and cabanas that could be rented so you can leave your valuables there. We opted to rent a cabana for P700. We brought food already since we were going to have our lunch there. There are tables, chairs, and sockets inside. There’s no electric fan though so it can get hot since it’s summer time, so I advise you to bring a small fan with you to beat the summer heat.Â
Rules and regulation of the resort
This is our private cabana. We were only 7 at that time but this can hold up to 20 people. We opted for this instead of the usual open cottage cause we brought a lot of food HAHAH and it’s safer. Â
The resort has 3 kinds of pool- hot, lukewarm and cold (kiddie pool).Â
Hot Spring
Lukewarm Pool
I didn’t get a picture of the cold springÂ
We were expecting that the cold spring would be big too but it was only a kiddie pool so we just stayed at the hot spring. The water from the hot spring comes from Mt. Bulusan, and thus contains minerals and sulfur. It is said that the water there is therapeutic, and can heal certain skin conditions. The pool was about 5 ft. deep. Steam may come out from time to time due to the temperature. When I emerged from the water, there was steam coming from me! HAHAH That’s how hot it was!
To those who haven’t gone to the ER yet, here are my advices for you:
1.) Health record
I have a folder for all of my health records (e.g prescriptions, test results etc.). This is very important so that you can review your previous results easily. Also, this is helpful for your doctors to see the history of your health. I bring this with me all the time whenever I see doctors and especially in the ER.Â
2.) Companion
There are some that go by themselves if the illness is tolerable but I don’t advise you to do this. It’s important to bring a companion in times like this so they can look out for you, and help you. In Makati Med for example, they have steps that you must follow. You have to sign up, get your vital signs checked before proceeding with the proper treatment depending on the urgency of your illness.Â
3.)
Even if you feel bad, the doctors need to know your answer. Tbh, I don’t feel like talking the last time cause I really felt bad, but I had to. Just take your time. They will ask certain questions like what happened, when was your last menstruation, allergies, etc.Â
4.)Â
Let the doctor explain to you the result. Don’t ever let him just give it you without explanation. I know that it’s a protocol to explain to the patient the results but some DO NOT. We’re not doctors or health experts so we don’t know how to read tests or any health related jargons. Make sure to get ALL the details like what medicine did he/she insert in your IV etc. It’s important to know every SINGLE detail.
5.) ASK. ASK. ASK.Â
Feeling anything wrong when you were treated? Ask this to the doctor who treated you. ASK WHY. Usually, after being treated, you should feel ok, not the opposite. And please ask to see another doctor if you were told that it’s “all in the head” or “anxiety” answer like the answer I got (read previous post) when you feel that it is not.Â
6.)
The processing of the bill can take hours. Just for the bill alone can take up to an hour (depends on the number of patients) so I suggest to let your companion request for the bill immediately after your treatment.Â
Note: This is my first hand experience, and my experience can be different from others. I want to share this to the public to notify that this might happen to them too, or let me know if this medicine had the same effect to you. Would love to be more informed about these things. Awareness is always important for me.Â
This is not my first time to go to the ER, it has been like 5 times already- if I remember correctly. I really don’t want to go there as much as possible because I don’t like to be poked by needles but I keep getting sick almost once a year HUHU IDK. I already had a thorough check up just last year. All the tests were fine as my doctor told me.Â
So I went to the Metropolitan ER last Sunday because I had been vomiting for 2 days already, and I also can’t eat because of that. I went to Makati Med first actually but they had a really long line, and I couldn’t wait any longer as they told me the waiting time could last for an hour.Â
I was served right away at Metropolitan since there’s only a few people in the ER. This was my second time at Metropolitan too. The last one was just last year, I experienced the worst headache of my life (ung tipong magsisipa ka na sa sakit) and vomiting. The first time was ok. However, this second time around, sadly, the meds that they inserted to my iv was not compatible to me. My vomiting stopped but there was a side effect. I can’t breathe properly- I was gasping for air and I was shaking a bit. I waited for it to subside since I thought that it was only a temporary thing but it didn’t, so I asked the resident doctor about my condition. I asked him if the meds that he gave me had a side effect such as what I was feeling. He told me that it had no side effects and that all the tests for me were clear (blood test, urine test, sugar level, oxygen level). I questioned him (YES, KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS IT’S REALLY IMPORTANT IF YOU’VE READ MY PREVIOUS POSTS YOU’LL KNOW WHY) why I was feeling that way, he said that maybe it was just “anxiety” or that it is just “in my head”. So deep inside I was thinking ah ok, maybe he’s right. After all, he’s the doctor and I’m only a patient. I was discharged after like 3-4 hrs. I was given prescriptions for my vomiting, and all.
I felt a bit okay during the night. The next day, when I took placil, my meds for vomiting. I started to feel the same thing that I felt the day before. I just thought that it was nothing, and shrugged it off. I was supposed to take it 3x a day. Upon taking the second one during lunch time, the sensations grew stronger. I was shaking more, I can’t keep STILL! So I got scared and instantly researched about my medicine in the internet and YES, I AM CORRECT. It does have side effects such as shaking. After a few more minutes, I already cannot breathe properly so I told my dad to bring me again at the ER. This time, it was at Makati Med already. By the time I reached the said hospital, I was already hyperventilating (so that’s what it feels like). I was gasping for air, my body felt like it was grounded esp my hands. I can’t even move my hands, it was formed into a fist, and I was scared during that time. I thought I was going to faint since I can’t breathe anymore or something. Luckily, I can still talk that time but with a much needed effort since they had some questions for me.Â
I didn’t have to wait in line anymore because apparently, if someone is experiencing difficulty in breathing, it requires immediate attention compared to just vomiting.  So there, I was instantly checked, and told them my hunches about placil, and showed them my medical records. They told me that my hunches were correct about placil. OKAY GUYS I’M NOT CRAZY! WEW. They put meds to calm me down (my hand- poor thing got poked again). I kinda blacked out after that cause the meds can make someone instantly sleep. When I woke up, I was feeling my NORMAL self. I can breathe properly already, and I’m not shaking anymore. THANK YOU, LORD for letting me live! <3 They changed my prescriptions after that. As of to date, I’m fine already. YAY.Â
As to what caused the vomiting, they were unsure about it cause it can be caused by a lot of things like the food that I ate. They just told me it was probably the food and gastritis. I already messaged the official page of Metropolitan Medical Center (https://www.facebook.com/metropolitanmedicalcenter/) regarding this in the hopes of making them aware of the side effect of the medicine. I have yet to receive a response from them. It’s also a bad thing that I can’t refund the medicine from mercury drug masangkay branch because I’m back at the province already. Mercury Drug told me that it can only be refunded at the branch where the medicine was bought HUHU. I’ll just donate it to a public hospital here so it’ll not be a waste.Â
Again, take note that this may not happen to everyone. All our bodies have different reactions to certain medications.Â
Hoping and praying for good health please <3 Â Even though a lot has happened these past few months, never ever forget to pray and trust in God. <3Â
I know that change is inevitable. It’s a fact. All of us change, everything changes.
We are helpless, and we can’t control it no matter how we want to.
I guess it happens because life just can’t be the same forever. As time passes by, things change. That’s how the world works. There’s no forever. As bitter as it may sound, it’s the truth. I think the sooner you realize this, the sooner it will sink in.Â
It’s never easy to deal with change especially when it happens fast. Just when you thought the worst thing that can happen to you is over. Another bad thing happens again, and it can be a never ending cycle. It’s exhausting. You need to adapt all over again, and reassemble your life.Â
Some say time is the enemy because it leads to change. I recently watched Doctor Strange, and it tackles this topic that time is our enemy. He was left alone because all of his loved ones died. He wants humans to be immortal, but as natural as birth, death is also natural. While the other one is full of joy, the other one is the exact opposite. I understand why he wished for immortality, and that time can be manipulated. It’s hard to lose your loved ones, and be left alone in this world. It’s like you’re empty, and dead inside. However, I know there’s a reason for all of these things. It may be hard to fathom or there may be no answers but trust that God has plans for all of us.Â
Some questions don’t have answers. I guess life is a mystery in that way.
This place is a must visit when you go to Naga! I didn’t know that we have a deer farm here in the Philippines. They aren’t aggressive at all as I thought they would be. I even got the chance to hold them and their horns. It’s not that hard as it looks like. The place is full of their poop though. They literally just poop everywhere, and even while they’re walking. I highly recommend that you wear rubber shoes or closed shoes if you’re going to this place.Â
There’s no entrance fee here. We asked the caretaker and he said that it’s owned by the government. If you’re looking something similar to Nara, Japan for their deers, then we also have it here in the Philippines! :))
I’m one of the deers HAHAHA
Chef Doy’s
My friends and I heard that this restaurant was quite famous there so we decided to try it out. It’s located at Magsaysay Avenue, the place where there are numerous restaurants. They serve Filipino dishes.
Bulalo
Crispy Pata
Naga Ecological Park
There’s an entrance fee of 20php each person. We decided to go there because of their maze. It was nice in the pictures but when we arrived there, it was not that good in person. I guess it’s nice to take pics here if you have a drone HAHA
Naga is just around 2-3 hrs. drive from our hometown, Legazpi. I can’t believe how clueless I am in the places that are must-see in Bicol. HUHU I shall explore more! so expect more posts about Bicol soon! :)
We just had a chill day in our last day. We headed to Mapawa Nature Park via taxi. They had activities such as horseback riding, and zipline but we didn’t do those anymore since we already did the zipline at Dahilayan Adventure Park. We just took a lot of photos and enjoyed the scenery.Â
We had lunch at Panagatan. My friend from CDO recommended this to me so we tried it out. They specialize in seafoods.Â
We came back to the hotel afterwards and tried Chingkitea. They have really nice interiors <3 We ordered their wintermelon milk tea.Â
We just spent most of our time here while waiting to go to airport around 6pm cause we were tired to roam around already.
We decided to head to Iligan via bus because it’s just near CDO. They had check points once we arrived there so we (all the passengers) got out of the bus while the police was conducting the inspection. We then rode a jeepney to get to the city proper. Our plan was to go to the famous Maria Cristina Falls but we didn’t know how to go there...
Luckily, there was a kind stranger who helped and accompanied us to which jeepney we should ride next! He was super nice!! THANK YOU KUYA! Unfortunately, Maria Crisitina Falls was closed due to safety reasons HUHU WE WENT THERE JUST TO SEE IT BUT IT WAS CLOSED. It was so disappointing :( WE WERE ALREADY THERE. HUHU
We just went to Tinago Falls instead. Before reaching the falls, we had to go down a couple of stairs.
We rode a motorcycle / habal habal going to the falls.
We were required to wear this life vest. You get to ride this bamboo raft at the falls.Â
The place had no proper comfort room where we can wash up and change clothes though. There was just a tube that releases fresh water so that’s where we took a shower near the falls (there’s no privacy, it’s just an open space). We then changed our clothes at one of the native’s house upon going back.Â
We took a jeepney going to the bus terminal to head back to CDO. We took this Super Five bus. It was very cold inside (we were wearing “summer outfits” HAHA). It’s a good thing that I brought a cardigan with me at that time.Â
It’s sad that we got to visit only one place due to time restrictions :(Â
We shall be back to see Maria Cristina Falls next time for sure!
My friends and I went to Cagayan De Oro (CDO) last September. We got our round trip tickets for around 1,200php only! So thankful that we were able to get the promo fare from Cebu Pacific! WOOHOO!
Our flight going to CDO was at night time on September 17. It took us almost 2 hours from the Laguindingan airport to GC Suites (our hotel). I didn’t know that their airport was too far from CDO :O. We paid around 400php + for the cab fare. There were shuttles offered for 150php each person, but we opted to ride the cab instead. I suggest to take the shuttle if you’re only by yourself or 2 so it’ll be cheaper.Â
I don’t really regard Sept. 17 as our legit first day because we didn’t do anything so let’s just say that our first day was on Sept. 18 HEHEHE
1st day
Our agenda for the day was to go white water rafting in the morning, and zip line at Dahilayan Falls at Bukidnon in the afternoon. What a tiring adventure filled agenda, isn’t it?Â
We took a jeepney from our hotel to the white water rafting place. We contacted some sort of agency to help take us there. Those people inside the jeepney were going white water rafting as well. We were going to take the beginner course at first because I was scared HAHAH However, we did the intermediate course in the end since the other group will do this course, and we need to wait for them for hours if we do the beginner course. The experience was fun, and thrilling at the same time. Watch our video which I posted before this blog post to see how our white water rafting adventure went! We got stuck on one of the rapids. I was so scared HAHAH we were stuck for almost 5 minutes! The water kept splashing at us! :(
I suggest to take a sunblock with you during the ride and reapply it as needed because you have a high chance of getting sunburnt since you’re going to stay under the sun for four hours or better yet wear long sleeves, and long bottoms. I got a really bad sunburn on my legs :|Â
We only got an hour to shower at our hotel after the rafting, then we had lunch at the Del Monte Clubhouse and went straight to Dahilayan at Bukidnon. They were about to close when we arrived so we were in a hurry. We got strapped immediately, and were given gears for the superman zip line. There were a total of three zip lines in the package.Â
Here’s the video of our adventure in Cagayan De Oro last September!
We also went to Bukidnon and Iligan since they were near CDO.
The people there were so friendly and accomodating! We were clueless on how to go to one place from another, and they helped us which jeepneys to ride especially when we were in Iligan :) Will make a detailed blog post after this!
Sometimes I still can’t believe that this is happening. There are days that I have already accepted the reality, while there are times that I still couldn’t believe it. How I badly wish that these things didn’t happen. I can’t help but to look at old photos and reminisce those great times. It feels like I’ve lost everything that mattered to me. Well, it DOES feel like it. It feels like the world is against us or something. I mean, losing someone again and again is devastating. I asked myself if this was even normal so I actually searched online with similar stories because I just can’t believe it. As written in my previous post, I pondered on how I can live life or continue living if my mother and only sibling aren’t here anymore with us. It’s hard, it really is. I think majority of us live or enjoy life because of our loved ones. All I really want in life is a happy and complete family but sadly, that dream is impossible now. However, no matter how hard life is, continue to live because life is truly a blessing. I’m scared on what’s going to happen next. I just hope that my father and I would be healthy.
I came across this video http://omeleto.com/210596/ where the people on the left side have health problems/issues, while those on the right wish for the usual things (to pass an exam, have this material thing etc.). A lot of people in the world are constantly struggling with different illnesses. It’s actually sad to accept that these diseases/illnesses are a part of life. Like one of the girls in the video, I also wish that there will be cure for all illnesses. It’s hard to see people struggling, and their loved ones getting hurt in the process. I know we’re mortals, and that we’re going to die at some point in our lives but the pain of seeing someone die kind of consumes you with grief which may affect you as a person. A big support system is really needed in times like these. I personally think that it’s hard to get back up if no one helps you go through it.Â
I kept on thinking why there are illnesses, genetic factor risks etc. all those scientific/ medical stuff. Well, I know that we should take care of our bodies and don’t abuse it in order to be healthy. However, what if we take good care of ourselves but something bad still happened? Anyway, no one knows the answer anyway. Didn’t those thoughts occur to you too? I know there are also external factors etc. oh well. Isn’t being good or something saves you from your illnesses? like a miracle would suddenly happen? IDK  anymore.
To those who are experiencing grief, I just want to say that we can get through this even if it may seem impossible. It’s a continuous process, grieve at your own pace but it’s important that you have a support system. Talk to your friends, relatives, or blog about it like what I’m doing. I know it’s hard to have a positive outlook in life if negative things keep happening to your life but keep going.Â
Made a travel video of my trip to Palawan last April! will continue blogging about the Day 3 since not all were included in the video. Missing Palawan already <3 wanna go to Coron next!Â
I can’t believe that I am writing another post about death in a short span of time. I am just in the process of truly accepting what happened to my mom, when suddenly, another tragedy hit us. When it happened- I actually had a lot of questions once again. Isn’t one death in the family enough? Why was it not diagnosed right away when my brother was rushed to the hospital numerous times? Why did he get that sickness? Why should it be a life threatening one? He already has severe allergies and then THIS??! Why him- he’s too young at the age of 22? WHY? Sorry, I really had a lot of questions running through my mind at that time. I guess it’s just normal when you experience these things in your family. It’s better to be expressive than to keep it all to yourself. I’ve had countless of  conversations regarding this matter with my friends and relatives.Â
I’ve questioned the purpose of life actually- why do we have to suffer through so much pain and encounter obstacles and hardships in life? and what is the purpose of life when your loved ones aren’t there anymore?Â
Some may go through life with a breeze, while some go through it the hard way. I was wrong in one of my last posts- from now on, it’s better to have a general check up no matter what age you are in.
It’s not easy to go through these traumatizing experiences. There are times that I can’t sleep even if I wanted to, that I was experiencing different emotions such as being anxious all the time and being paranoid about what I was feeling. My stomach hurts almost all the time because of anxiety - I guess and I also asked my doctor if that was normal and he said it was. I think that the body produces acid if someone is stressed or anxious (?) correct me if I’m wrong.Â
It’s frustrating because he can be saved if his sickness was detected early on but we will never know the exact cause because there wasn’t any autopsy done. There weren’t any available pathologist that time.  One thing’s for sure- that it’s because of an infection in his stomach. We think that it’s because of chronic appendicitis. We already asked some doctors regarding this and I also did a lot of research to find out the real cause (I searched the net for like weeks of possible causes then ruled out some which did not fit my brother’s symptoms, I looked at forums and stories of other people too). He kept experiencing stomach pains and nausea from time to time but some attacks were mild, while some are severe. He was rushed to the ER for like three times already because of that but the doctor said that it was just acid, something that he ate or peptic ulcer. He was diligent in taking medicines but he wasn’t getting any better. He would feel fine after being rushed to the hospital though but another attack will happen again after like a month.
He did an ultrasound when it first started like 2 times but it didn’t show any signs of any troubles. On the last attack, the lab tests showed that he had uti and wbc of 15.8 which was apparently a sign of infection. According to my research (sorry for the no sources since I just kept on opening different links and just read them), uti can also be one of the signs of appendicitis although it’s not the usual one because the infection has probably spread already. The doctor didn’t advise us that it was fatal, life threatening or that he even needed an emergency operation. NONE AT ALL.  He was even given a pain reliever to relieve the pain which is according to some, is a NO because it will just mask the symptoms so he felt a little better after that. The underlying cause should be the one treated here. THIS FATAL MISTAKE CANNOT TAKE MY BROTHER BACK. IT WAS A LIFE ON THE LINE AND THEY SHOULD’VE PANICKED OR SOMETHING AND TREATED IT AS A SERIOUS ONE ESPECIALLY THAT IT WASN’T THE FIRST TIME THAT IT HAPPENED.Â
I cannot believe that the ultrasound didn’t detect it :( cause I searched that  ultrasound can see stomach problems such as kidney stones, gall stones, appendicitis etc. I really don’t know what happened there (faulty equipment? or whaat) but I came to a post with the same situation and that her daughter has been suffering with stomachaches too but the doctors wouldn’t rule it as the cause because her tests were ok. I think MRI or CT scans are much better then? :( but the thing here is that I’ve come to research also that doctors don’t really believe in CHRONIC appendicitis. Just a few, I guess. I’ve tried researching on how long can a person last with chronic appendicitis and some have survived for years with their recurring stomachaches. Everyone is just different in handling this kind of illness.Â
Also, we trusted the doctors who were attending to my brother. I even asked him if he was sure that he didn’t want it checked in Manila by another doctor but he refused and told me that the doctor in the province was one of the best. I should’ve insisted :|. He usually trusts doctors though and follow whatever they say. He would listen to them more compared to us. Now, I’m traumatized to be checked in the province. I would just do my check-ups in Manila just to be sure because health is very important and one mistake can take a life. I would now even consider doing second even third opinions if needed (I’m paranoid already huhu) I know that doctors don’t want their patients to die, and I have a high respect for them but I guess that each doctor has a different capability and limited knowledge on certain things. Sometimes, we need to demand  and challenge them because it’s not all the time that they are right. It’s also important to trust yourself as you’re the one feeling these symptoms and think that something isn’t right. Don’t just easily believe. If you feel that something is wrong with your body then you’re probably right. I think it’s better to have a sort of health diary where you put what you’ve been feeling (e.g on this day you feel a headache etc.) just for review purposes. I’ve been doing that recently.Â
This is a very hard and tough time for us. I pray to God for Him to give us strength. It isn’t easy to handle multiple deaths in the family. Please pray for our family (esp to be healthy at all times) and support us.Â
