A keto food I slept on. Straight up in my freezer for years because they’re my husbands favorite. 0 carbs! 23g fat! Whaaaat!?
It’s probably illegal for me to do keto because I do NOT like avocado. They taste like wet leaf.
I don’t like pork rinds either. I guess I’ll just eat more broccoli.
Day 3 and a post day 2 roundup.
I’ve just gotten into the start of ketosis at the end of day 2.
My fitness pal doesn’t factor in the net carbs, just gross carbs. So, my macro pie chart isn’t quite 100% accurate to what I ate.
First impressions: it’s pretty easy to eat keto for me, but that doesn’t stop emotional cravings. Genuinely, it’s hard to eat all of my calories in keto! The high fat leaves me not hungry. I am trying to get more veggies in, and I wouldn’t recommend keto if you don’t like to cook multiple times a day. Everything I’ve had is a lot better freshly cooked. I’ve also been making sure to drink water AND some electrolytes. I don’t want to feel like garbage in a few days.
It’s day 3 and this ELIMINATED my bloat in a big bad way. I went from 186lbs to 179lbs. At the very least this is a super efficient way to cut water weight.
Let’s go keto?
Well! I’m going to give keto a try.
Day one feels good so far, but I need to make sure I’m drinking a lot of water! I really don’t want to have that keto flu. I am just jumping right in.
My starting weight this morning was 185, though it’s day 2 of my period so I am bloated! Ballpark sw is 180ish. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow so I can see a week to week difference!

Living it up, fasting is a lot easier on 3rd shift when there’s no food just floating about. So far I’m down 8lbs this month, and I won my DietBet! I’ll just roll the winnings into the next game and keep on keeping on.
A bit about me, I’m training to be a sheet metal mechanic. I also work night audit at a hotel, and intermittent deliveries for a little extra money until I finish training. I have two kids, a (very) fledgling homestead, and a husband who’s hotter than me and is my best motivation. I haven’t slept enough this week, but I’m hydrated so there’s that.
