I wanna know what it feels like to forget you were in my life
Such a shame when you make someone your number one but their own insecurities blind them. They never realize how deeply and fiercely you care for them until they've already pushed you away and hurt you too many times do count.
Great ideas - Great ideas
assembling evidence that Paris Hilton is into vintage radios & is also a radically different person than you may have assumed
Hi yes, let me tell you about my encounters with Paris Hilton.
First time I was at a Harry Potter Los Angeles meet-up at the Grove. I am waiting in line to order food from Phil’s Deli when the person in front of me backs up suddenly. I do the same and backpedal right onto someone’s foot. I immediately turn around, apologizing, when I am face-to-face with Paris Hilton.
My first thought is that I probably just ruined $2000 shoes.
She goes, “Oh goodness, it’s fine!” and laughs. She glances down at our feet. “You’ve got big feet, too!”
I laugh a little, nervous. “Yeah. Size eleven.”
“Me, too!” She laughs and offers up a hand for a high-five. I react automatically and high five her. “It’s so hard to find shoes in our size, right?”
I nod.
“You should go check out [some store on Rodeo]. They actually carry size eleven women’s shoes for me!”
I grin, although my first thought is I cannot afford shoes from Rodeo Drive.
The second time I encountered Paris Hilton was through my work at GLAAD. My work there involved VIP phone calls for membership-related stuff. I was assigned to her during Pride that year, since we had a good working phone relationship. When she saw me, she was excited “to finally meet me.” Those words died on her lips when we shook hands and she narrowed her eyes.
“We’ve met before.”
I smiled. “Yes.”
“At the Grove! You’re my foot twin!”
We both ended up laughing and chatting for a good half-hour (although she did say I should have mentioned we’d already met! I told her there hadn’t been a good opportunity but that it would likely sort itself out at Pride pretty fast). I only wish I’d known she was interested in amateur radio! (Everyone in my family, including me, has their license.)
Since then, I have vigorously defended Paris Hilton to people. She absolutely gave me the impression that she was a kind, good, loving, and generous person. She also gave the impression of being very intelligent, with impressive business acumen.
I think I’ve reblogged this before but let me reiterate that I LOVE Paris Hilton
So it didn’t last – that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good.

Okay I know we always go on about Marvel’s uncanny casting ability.
But if you thought they were the only ones, let me draw your attention to this man:
Viggo Mortensen, aka Aragorn son of Arathorn, aka Sexiest Ranger in Middle Earth
would hike, often for more than a day, to remote filming locations, in costume, for the sake of authenticity
was the best swordsman Bob Anderson (swordsmaster/instructor for LotR, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc) says he has ever trained
occasionally writes poetry (more book!canon than film!canon but um hello)
does all his own stunts
lived all over and speaks about 23940209384 languages
you know that scene at the end of Fellowship when he’s fighting the Uruk-hai? And one throws a dagger at him and he hits it away with his sword? Yeah, the guy who threw it was supposed to miss, but accidentally threw it directly at Viggo. Who just casually Aragorned and hit it away.
They actually cast Aragorn to play Aragorn
What a stud
Man crush all day
I totally miss read fighting as fucking and turned that entire last point into something completely different.
Can we talk about the scene where he was supposed to be mad bc they couldn’t find frodo and he had to kick a helmet that was on the ground and he kicked it too hard and broke his toe and the take they used in the film was the one with the broken toe
so my grandmother just told me a joke…
“Why do women wear panties with flowers on them?”
“I dunno, ‘cause flowers are pretty cool?”
“In loving memory of all the faces that were buried there.”
i just like omg grandMA NO
Grandma yes

I need someone to explain health insurance to me. I feel like I knew this before but now my brain is crapping out on me.
Will my insurance not pay for *anything* until I hit the deductible? Is that how that works?
‘Cause this girl is getting billed for eveerryyything and I don’t know if that’s normal or not?
My parents have a 5,000 deductible. They pay the first 5 grand of health related expenses until health insurance will cover anything. Insurance companies do this as incentive for you not to need health related services and expenses! Nice
Thank god I don’t need to see a specialist and get special blood tests done. That would be insane. OH WAIT. Only $2993 more dollars to go…
That’s why I’m waiting to do anything until I’m in school. I have school insurance that covers therapy :-) my parents insurance makes me sad
Nice, that’s super convenient! Insurance in the USA just makes me sad. Like, just make me pay more in taxes or something if it means I don’t have to deal with this crap!!
Once your deductible is met you're covered at a certain percentage for services. It could be 50% 70% 80% - depends entirely on your plan and the service being billed. Some services require prior authorization - prior authorization is NOT a guarantee of payment. Services must be deemed medically necessary to be covered. If over the course of a calendar year your Out of Pocket is met (much higher than your deductible, not all plans have an oop, deductible and coinsurances may or may not apply) you are covered at 100% for all services deemed medically necessary for the remainder of the calendar year - which could mean January or July depending on your effective date, and then it resets and you start over.
Know your coverage and be sure to choose in network providers.
