since clotted cream cookie has been forgotten by devsis I think he should get adopted by all the ancients and have costumes based off them, as a treat
They all came together every once in a while and everyone would just assume it's an important political meeting pertaining to their respective kingdoms or whatever—whole time it's just tea time or some shit 💛 (feel like they'd still manage to turn the tea time political but it'll definitely be more chill than Clotted Cream's first encounter w 3 of the ancients, im just saying🚶♂️🔥)
Also the costume thing would be so cool actually!! Idk about other people or other countries for that matter, but we would sometimes sell or gift our culture's traditional garments or fabrics to anyone who'd pay us a visit—partly because we actually still actively make them and wear them to this day, they're still an integral part of our modern everyday life :]
^ the regional costume would lowkey satisfy my nostalgia for Cookie Run Kingdom before Beast Yeast, cause one of my favorite aspects about old CRK is visiting different places and learning about their cultures and customs, on top of the characters who lives there and what they do or who they are to their homeland (another reason why Créme Republic is peak to me cause not only that but you're also learning about its issues and its people's struggles and all 🥀 i feel like it's old CRK at its most complex with the most depth because of it,,,,, which i miss dearly,,,,,,,, maybe im just missing the Republic sm rn but i also absolutely will not be against more kingdom-centric content even if it's not the Créme Republic 🧍♂️🙏)

Clotted keeps asking Madeleine and Espresso why they left the Crème Republic...do you think it's because he is lowkey upset and wants to keep them there or because he secretly wants to leave too...?🤔🤔🤔
I do not remember anything abt Clotted Cream asking those 2 why they left the Republic, but also im gonna assume it's from an event thing that i missed since i only started locking in during the final few days of the Perfumer's Quest update—LONG after the Cookie Odyssey dropped 🥀 so i will answer the question under the presumption that it's real 🧍♂️🙏 (if it's from a more recent event then im gonna assume im just stupid 🚶 /lh)
In my head, with the context that he's been raised to be a politician since a young age, Clotted Cream probably saw Espresso and Madeleine leaving the Republic more as a failure of the Republic itself—which he might in turn also see as a personal failing on his part as well, with him being the representative of the entire Créme Republic 🥀 like it's literally his job to take care of the Republic and its citizens, and one of his nation's most highly reputable citizen leaving probably stuck w him idk.... a blemish to his title, proof of his perceived inadequacy..... ponder, white boy, ponder 🐎🐎🐎🥀🥀 (the high standards that he grew up with is probably not helping either lmfao)
(Espresso's reasons for leaving are justified with how he's been living in the Republic and how they treat the Lower City and its people, but Madeleine didn't even really leave, let alone leaving specifically because the country sucked absolute ass to live in—he just wants to see more of the world outside of his beloved Republic 💔 with all due respect to the consul, if he considers what Madeleine's doing as "leaving the Republic behind" then he's a lost cause, im afraid 🪦🪦🥀🥀/j )
Speaking of Espresso—I know i tend to exaggerate whatever feelings he may have over Clotted Cream firing him.... for funny haha comedic reasons.... but i feel like his firing is more of a last straw for him (and also a chance to finally leave everything behind for good like he always wanted) on top of all the bitter memories that he has for the Republic, most of them being from before Clotted Cream was even elected as consul.... aka he probably doesn't even have anything personal against the consul despite the firing 🥀 (dare i say he probably could see where Clotted Cream is coming from and he hates it lmfao)
(off topic but the idea of Espresso being an empath against his will is funny to me ngl 🚶 the idea came from an OC of mine but i love the character trope of "your unrestrained wrath is a gift, and your unyielding empathy a curse" 🔥 maybe i will cast it upon him)
I don't think Clotted Cream wants to keep the two of them with him in the Republic though, he knows exactly what that would feel like when it's done against their wills 🥀—nor do I think he secretly wants to leave as well mostly because in my head, despite how he's been raised and treated, he still wants to do good by the Republic. Like Yeah he didnt choose to be where he's at right how, he didnt have a choice back then, but I think he still want to genuinely and earnestly do his job to the best of his ability. This time he has a choice and he is *choosing* to be a leader for the sake of its people, purely out of love for the Republic—his home 💛🔥 (i love affectionate and genuine Clotted Cream, can you tell 🚶♂️ it's also the biggest middle finger that he could give to his old man. very cathartic for me specifically, idk if yall agree 🧍♂️)
