Did Bandra to NCPA after ages! Slowly getting into the ‘marathon is round the corner’ mindset!!! :) #22kmdone . . . P.S: I must admit I am totally impressed by the new Apple Watch Series 3’s battery! Series 2 would last only 4 hours with GPS on. This one, inspite of running 22km on GPS has about 70% battery left! Plus, it shows the current pace as compared to the average pace in previous editions! In my hand is the first ever Rs. 1 paper note released on this day, November 30, 1917, 100 years ago! Before this paper note was released, Rs. 1 silver coins were in circulation in India. On a gloomy rainy day in Budapest when the yellow cabs were the only bright things seen on the deserted streets! People often ask me which city amongst the recently visited Prague, Budapest and Athens did I like the most-as all three are well visited by travellers and tourists? . . . My answer is ‘Budapest’. Yes, Prague is beautiful like a fairytale, Athens is so much history (and I love places with historical significance). But Budapest has a lot of character!!! Completed the Athens Authentic Marathon! Thoughts during the race-“never am I participating in an uphill marathon course such as this ever again” Thoughts at the finish line: “OMG, Whoaaaa!!” . . . The race began in the town of Marathon and ended in the Panathinaiko marble stadium (a site for athletic events in ancient times) through a crazy running course with locals cheering. You really feel like a champion when you finish at the marble stadium.
